I crack my wrists, fingers, and ankles frequently. I am frequently told that I'm goin to get arthritis. I try 2 stop but i can't. Recently, my wrist and hand were hurting. Am I getting arthritis? Will this affect me when I'm in my 50's,60's,70's, etc.?

Yes, cracking joints greatens your chances of getting arthritis- although it is not the only factor. If i was you i would see my GP about your wrist pain it could also be RSI or carpel tunnel. I would also stop cracking joints just to be on the safe side.

Also alot of younger people are getting arthritis now and doctors believe it is because they aren't doing enough exercise and eating the wrong foods. It is also passed on from family members but that doesn't mean you won't get it.

My Mum has arithritis and it is very crippling. I think people need to be aware of the factors so you can lesson your chances of getting it.

Yes, you can stop. Just picture yourself crippled up in a wheelchair, unable to walk or use your hands. The pain of arthritis is severe. It's like a horrible ache in your joints.

I think arthritis is hereditary,so check if your parents have it, and it generally comes later in life. Also take some calcium to strengthen your bones.
