No. Less choice for the consumer usually = higher prices

Strange question. I think that USAirways should take over Delta if they can, but I think Delta should stay away if they can.
It was forecast years ago when congress deregulated the airlines that eventually all the different airlines would go away and leave just a few very large airlines. That prediction is slowly coming true. I think US Airways and Delta would be almost as big as United. Then if American were to gobble up Northwest, it would basically leave 3 big airlines. That would make it very hard on the tiny lines like SW and Jet Blue. Of course, it would not be easy for the big ones as well. Re-regulation is the only reasonable answer to the mess the Democratic Congress made.

No. USAirways would probably end up in bankruptcy taking on Delta. Jet Blue is the best airlines ever.

I prefer delta over us air any day. Especially remembering when they lost all of those bags 2 or 3 years ago during the holiday season. So i think delta should stay alone, even though they are having money problems.

US Scareways SUCKS. They are NEVER on time and their staff is misrable to us the customer.

I fly every week of the year and I will drive before I travel on US air.
