She vomits because she definately is drinking too fast. She needs a constant supply of water. If it's not available all the time she will drink it fast cause she is thristy and have been wanting it.
Also, never give her cold water. It will give her stomach cramps or make her throw up. Room temp is great. If you do not have time to constantly keep her supplied with water. So she will know its always there for her. Invest in buying one of those water jugs that are upside down in a dish bowl so the bowl stays full all the time.(Sorry don't know the name of it but you can buy it at any pet store)

Your dog is drinking her water too fast. To stop this from happening fill a saucer with water and give to her. After she has drunk all the water check if she has vomited. If she hasn't vomited you know that the problem is. If she vomits after only having a little drink of water i would suggest that you call your vet. I suggest you have a few half filled buckets or bowls of water around so she can't drink it all at once and then vomit. I hope youre able to fix the problem.
Good Luck

My old dog used to do that, but only when we went places. Visiting friends, or the park, vacations, etc. When we would go on road trips we would stop, let the dog out to drink and pee, and I would always walk him around until he threw up. In my own personal experience, Maverick threw up because out of excitement. He was so happy to go to new places that he would drink really fast. The colder the water was the better the chances he was going to get sick too.
This probably isn't what's going on with your dog since it's more frequent, but I thought I'd share.
Hope your vet has some answers for you.

This is not normal at all and you should take her to the vet because water is alot more important than food. She might have an infection, or possibly a disease she might just have a bug but this does not sound good so take her to the vet asap. Good luck. It might be a metabolic disease, irritation of the small or large intestine, or a quick change she has had in her diet. Give her ice to keep her hydrated.

I have a friend whose dog needs to drink filtered water (like from a Brita pitcher). He will always vomit if the water is just from the tap - could you try giving her filtered, to see how she does?

Perhaps she is swallowing too much air; limit the amount she is allowed to drink at one time.
Also, maybe elevate her water to a higher level

It is because she drinks it way to fast and too much of it, we have 18 dogs and they do that often.
