Go for the Mustang!! I love 'em! Think of it this way. Which would you rather show off, a Hyundai or a Mustang?! Mustang's are way cooler than Hyundai's!

I would do the Mustang. Althought the V6 is the same coarse/low tech motor found in Explorers. And though the interior looks nice, it feels like lego plastic to me.

The Hyundai has been around for a few years and really does not do any one thing well. It is cramped and rides harshly with the sport suspension and tires. It is a sharp looking car, and feels sporty though.

I am not a Ford fan, and do not think the Mustang will hold up all that well should you be the type to buy a car and drive it till it blows up. The Hyundai can be had for 18k+, and the Ford for probably closer to 20k. That being said, there is not a lot out there that matches them as far as bang for the buck goes.

Um. Mustang!!!! These two cars don't even compare. A Mustang is American Muscle. The Mustang GT has 300 horsepower!!! It's not that much, really but, think about it. These vehicles are in totally seperate catagories. I respect that you like Hyundai but, C,mon!!! I favor GM myself. Say what you will but, I totally have Ford's back this time. How much do you want to spend? A fully loaded Mustang GT (and I mean fully loaded-leather, heated seats, sunroof, convertable, six disc changer, Mach Audio and what ever else you can add to it) is $30k+. I myself would never drive those foreign rice patty 4 cylinder whatever....sorry. I'm an American. I'm going to smoke cigarettes, eat red meat and drive my 300 horse power car that gets 18 miles to the gallon. I was born and raised in this country, I'm happy to live here, and I'm going to support one on the largest industries in the world and buy American vehicles. Remember hearing about Pearl Harbor?

I hope you are short because when I wanted to get the Tiburon - I couldn't fit comfortable in the driver's seat even after seat adjustments .... I'm only 5 ft 7 inches and I was cramped! Ended up with a BMW 325i --- loving it!!!!

An American car, yes. Never foreign, even if made in America.
But not a Mustang. The insurance will kill you.
