Does God know all the choices I am going to make? If He does then did He pre-plan my life? If so do I have a choice in what I do?

You do have a free will, meaning that you get to choose what you are going to do and not do. However, God still knows the choices that you will make, as He is all knowing.

We do have a free will meaning we are not made to do something we do not want to do. Free choice does not exist because we must relinquish the alternative action when we choose do to the other Example: We can choose to pick up the pencil or leave it lay - we cannot do both at the same time nor can we go back and undo our previous choice to make it not happen. As for knowing the future, if you were to play chess with a chess master he would know all possible moves on the board for every move you make. This does not stop you from making your moves but he will still know what moves you can make far in advance at any point in the game. This I believe is how God sees the future and we may someday have quantum computers with a similar computational ability capable of nearly an infinite number of simultaneous calculations.

Yes if he looks into your future he would know, and he will only intervene when the time is right not just in your life but every-ones lives! But he has not preplanned any human life, or the way this world is is going, this is not God's plan even though some have been led to believe it to be! But God does tell us in his word the Bible how to make good informed choices for a happy life here on the earth for eternity his word is there for all to see and benefit from taking his advice on board and using the knowledge that is available for all!

Yes, God knows the choices that you're going to make. He knows everything, past, present and future. He knows every hair on your head. But no, He did not plan your life. While He knows what will happen to you every second for the rest of your life, he did not plan your life. You have free will...God has blessed us (or cursed us!) with that. He just knows the decisions you will make before you make them.

He may know some, but for free will... He chooses not to know all of them. He may know the choices that you will face but you will decide between them. For God do know everything everyone is going to do from day 1 makes the entire Bible useless and a lie. He CAN make specific things happen and does. But not everything that happens is His doing nor His will. You can go the Calvinist route that everything is predetermined if you want but then you can also go open fire in a mall and say "God ordained it" however, that laughs in the face of the Bible where God has many times openly allowed us to choose and was sometimes surprized at the outcome.

It is not that He CANT know, just He chooses not to... so that we can make our own bad and good decisions.

Yes, but God has given u the right to choose/make ur own decisions. Even when we make the stupidest decisions sometimes, God still loves us and forgives us. God is all knowing and knows what's right for us. our everyday choices get us into the mess that God takes us out of.

Have we all gone insane? How can we believe in free will and yet believe in pre-destiny? If God knew your future choices, then it means he would allow or promote pre-destiny.

If God had allowed pre-destiny for an individual, then it would be a fraud for him to offer us free will.

Well, God is not a fraud. But religious empires with their selfish leaders have sold us some snake oil and called it a health tonic.

Proof: You know you have free will. Why? Because you know that you can believe in God or not believe in God. (And no one will ever know, not even your parents or spouse, unless you tell them the truth about that issue.

You know you have free will, because you can choose to be harmonious or disharmonious. Not all forms of disharmony are illegal. Therefore, the judicial system will not throw you in jail for being rude to people. So it really is your choice.

You have a very good question there. It will be very difficult for us to answer 100% correct. But I do think that it goes this way: Allah is aware of all your inner desires and choices but He does not regulate them because he has given you something the quality of 'conscience' to deal with those choices. Again, He had a bigger plan for you when He made you, so He sees whether you go towards that direction or not with the choices that you make - the direction of Hell or Heaven.

May Allah bless you.

Good question I have already asked sorry no satisfactory answer. I was told God has the ability to know everything but he doesn't use that ability at least not often. He did send a lot off profits telling you the future though. It seems to me if God has the ability to see the future he would be tempted to take a peek. Then zap your future has already been determined including every time you will take a pee. Kisses Betty.

The first answerer is correct. If god knows what choices you are going to make then you don't actually have any choice; your free will is an illusion.
