You can tell her something useful like "don't get your hopes up".

well ur right. you never know what u are gonna get in a relationship- cause each one is different and new obstacles are thrown at you.
you can tell her..
that in every relationship you learn somthing new, and if you didnt get hurt (or in her case doesnt have faith in the relationship) then u wont learn anything.
but she needs to give relationships a chance. and if she doesnt get a good vibe in the beginning then she should go after that one with more ambition to see what comes out of it and figure out why she felt like she didnt/doesnt have faith in that relationship. thats what i would do.

Your a good friend that was very nice of you. and to re assure her you'll be there for her in her time of need. yes you did good. also let her know there are no guarantees in life. but that if she doesn't try she'll never know either. and its better to have loved and lost than to not have loved at all. thats a popular saying im sure she's heard of. just keep her expectations realistic and just tell her to keep her wits and head about her and don't expect miracles or a movie style ending this is real life.

good luck

Everything in life is a risk waking up in the morning is a risk and you just dont know faith is of things unseen. Unless she can see events in the futures how will she know. Tell her to pray for her fear to go away and for faith to be strengthened. Good luck

there is one thing that you have to keep in mind with a friend. Alot of times friends will not even take into consideration what you are trying to tell them . They will listen but not keep it in mind when they are dating. I had a friend that i told her this guy she was interested in was bad news and that he sexually assulted me and she still went out with him got pregnant he cheated on her and wouldn't give her child support. So be there for her but don't think that she will listen.

Just ask the guy! Watch is face, listen to his voice, how long does it take him to answer, does he look into your eyes with emotion when he answers? Then go with your gut, if the chemistry is there it will happen. If not ------- why waste any more time and effort, he's not the only fish in the sea!

2. Take some risks!

I think you've got it covered. It's great you aren't just telling her what to do, like so many other people tend to do. Plus you are saying whatever she does decide to do you will be supportive.
You must be a great friend to have around!
Good on ya.

It seems that you are a good friend. You don't need to say anything else. Time will give her the answers she wants.
