For anyone who has taken the test, can you please describe it to me and what it consists of. does it involve knowledge of physics?
How would you rate its level of difficulty?

sorry...I meant the test for pharmacy. I should have been more specific.

PCAT does not have a physics section. It is moderately difficult. When I took it there were five section, but know there are six sections: quanitative reasoning, biology, chemistry, reading, english, and now writing.

This presentation describes how the Automated Design Rule Checker (DRC) and Raytheon Process Capability Analysis Tool (PCAT) are used to identify design for producibility violations, and to predict DPU for RF/MW modules produced in the Microwave Automated Factory (MAF) in Dallas, Texas. The MAF development and implementation of PCAT and DRC included the following activities:

• The integration of RF/MW Design Guidelines into an automated design rule checker.
• The development of a methodology for establishing process capability model dpmo limits using known design rule violations and production dpmo data.
• The demonstration that RF/MW PCAT process predictions for engrave, epoxy, gold wirebonding, and hermetic seal are in good agreement with production data across products of varying manufacturing complexity
• The demonstration that MAF PCAT product predictions are in good agreement with production data.

PCAT and the Automated Design Rule Checker are two major Six Sigma product development design tools that, when used in tandem, greatly improve the quality of microwave module designs.
