Back when the Earth was formed? It's been proven by someone, that because of some things NOT present TODAY that WERE present on Earth THEN, a day was like 10,000 of our PRESENT YEARS TODAY. So, in OUR terms, 7 DAYS THEN, are PROBABLY equal 70,000 YEARS. When the Earth was first formed, there was a fog over all the Earth, and the Earth was without rain, and seasons. Then, when God caused the 40 day rain that caused the great flood, people began to live around 70-100 years of age. DOWN from Methuselah's 900+ years that HE lived. It's all in the ONLY book that counts. Read up on it, in Genesis! Jesus really DOES LOVE you!

The earth was not created in a literal 7 days. According to
2 Peter 3:8 where it says, However, let this one fact not be escaping YOUR notice, beloved ones, that one day is with Jehovah as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day" obviously that shows that God didn't create all things in a literal 7 days. Also, According to Bible usage, a day is a measured period of time and can be a thousand years or many thousands of years. The Bible's creative days allow for thousands of years of time each. Further, the earth was already in existence before the creative days began. (Genesis 1:1)
A a former professor of nuclear physics named Gerald Schroeder had this to say regarding this subject, and I quote "The Bible relates in thirty-one verses, in a few hundred words, events spanning sixteen billion years. These are events about which scientists have written literally millions of words. The entire development of animal life is summarized in eight biblical sentences. Considering the brevity of the biblical narrative, the match between the statements and timing in Genesis 1 and the discoveries of modern science is phenomenal, especially when we realize that all biblical interpretation used here was recorded centuries, even millennia, in the past and so was not in any way influenced by the discoveries of modern science. It is modern science that has come to match the biblical account of our genesis. ”

It depends on what you mean by "days". If you mean the time it takes the earth to revolve around its axis, then it is most likely true that the earth was not created in seven days. However, the term "days" is probably meant in a metaphorical sense, so as to show that a process of creation took place, be it over 4.5 billion years or seven days. The fact that we exist, and that the earth exists, is evidence enough that some sort of creation took place, for we could not exist if we weren't created.
God bless.

I filmed it happening, and it's in my new documentary coming out next summer. Be sure to get your tickets in advance.
All kidding aside, NOBODY has any evidence that the earth was created in 7 days; for what it's worth, nobody has any evidence that the earth was even "created". It's a pointless debate. It's a belief which can't ever be substantiated unless God Hisownself comes down from Heaven Above and shows us the slideshow.

I'm guessing that this is directed towards religion. I don't focus on evidence, I focus on my faith. I was taught that 7 days for God may not be the same as 7 days for man. This is a convenient explanation, but I don't worry about it ( you should hear how the priest explained dinosaurs). Instead I'm happy with a faith that helps me stay on the right track. It's part of my background and heritage and I don't question it.
I only question beliefs that encourage people to hurt others. Mine do not.

How many days the earth ways created is hardly the point. That has nothing to do with anything. ACCEPT CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOR! that is the only thing you need to do. Bow before the King. Why should we get in a debate on how many days the earth was created in. You do not really care you just want to ask a pety question.

why bother yourself about it?... I am of the religious persuation, but I dont want to quote for you.. I feel that time is created by God anyways.. so a day to him is whatever he wants it to be.. it could have been a million years to us... So if thats so, it would have taken 7 million years to create earth... I say, dont worry about it.. Earth is here, you are here, that was in the past and wont effect you now...

They don't have any, that's kind of one of the major reasons why their whole theory makes no sense.
There are other reasons that take "makes no sense" to "absolute ignorance".
Debating creationists on the topic of evolution is rather like trying to play chess with a pigeon - it knocks the pieces over, craps on the board, and flies back to its flock to claim victory.

For God 1000 years is like one day
If the Bible says it took 7 days it can mean 7000 years
depends on how God explains it in his time or our time
