Ok so I was sick for like a month and finally went to the doctors and got antibiotics. They didn't know what it was... tested me for mono and all that. So it musta just been some bacteria or whatever...

Now I feel wayyy better (I finished the antibiotics over a week ago), but sometimes when I cough there is still some phelgm that comes up. What the heck is going on? I feel fine otherwise...

I mean it could just be me still getting better from it, but seriously I'm feeling so good right now. Could there be something up w/my lungs? It sometimes hurts when I breathe really deep- the doctor listened and said they sounded fine tho..

Thanks everyone :)

I have that too. It started with a cough back in mid October, and then a week later I actually felt sick, and was sick with runny nose, phlegm, for a few weeks.

I finally got on antibiotics and I feel better now... although occasionally I'll have coughing fits and it sounds like I still have phlegm down there. I think they're just persistant little germs that don't want to quit.

I think you're fine if it's what I have... it'll probably just go away soon... and if not, then maybe go to the doctor to make sure it isn't your lungs.

Well i would wait a while and then go back to the doctor after the antibiotics were off, i think the machine still be in you system for 7 to 14 days after you stop taking them, and if you cough and phlegm still comes up than i would ask for a xray of the chest.

Coughing up phlegm is not unusual when you have been sick. So long as the phlegm is not green or real yellow in color you should be fine.

You know when you're coughing and you feel something moving that you're heading to the finish line.. *whoo hoo, its almost over*

IT IS JUST THE AFTER EFFECTS OF YOUR COLD
I DO NOT THINK YOU SHOULD WORRY ABOUT IT UNLESS IT CONTINUES
