Last, First. "Title of Website." Site Title. Publication date. Site Sponsor. Access date .
The Site Title should be italicized (or underlined). The dates should be in this format: 28 Nov. 2006. Pay careful attention to the placement of punctuation, like the periods, commas, quotation marks, and greater-than and less-than symbols. They DO matter.
Example:
Shiva, Vandana. "Bioethics: A Third World Issue." NativeWeb. 15 Sept.2004 .
However, the citation differs based on what it is exactly that you are citing. If you are citing an online journal, magazine, or newpaper, you often need to include part of the print citation as well. See http://www.dianahacker.com/resdoc/p04_c08_s2.html for more specific information.
Many of my students like to use citation machines like Knight Cite (at http://webapps.calvin.edu/knightcite/ ), but I caution use of such things because they still require YOU to put the correct information in the correct blanks and to select the correct type of citation.

Go to this website or search online for MLA format. OWL at Purdue should come up somewhere. They have great examples of all sorts of MLA citation. I used this website the entire time I went to college.
