I think that the age difference may raise maturity issues. I don't know of many 18 year old kids who are mature enough to handle a real relationship.

I've found that if your love is outside of a 5 year window, it becomes a problem. This means the 25 year old should date 20 to 30 year olds. The 18 year old should not date anyone younger, but stay under 23.

Unfortunately if you are mature for your age it doesnt matter cause technically you have to subtract some years due to men being immature. So technically he's 21 yrs old so there is a 3yr difference. does that sound better. Men mature slower than women. But if you are just starting off dating I dont recommend it due to the fact you could be taken advantage of.... Good luck

The age rule for dating is: you take your age (or in this case, his age) and divide it by two. (You get 12.5.) Then add 7. (19.5). According to the rule, this guy really shouldn't date anyone younger than 19 and a half. But I'd say that if you aren't too far apart in life experience (for example, he's been married and divorced, and you're still a virgin), and you're not still in high school, you should go for it.

Yes,that is perfectly fine.You are 18 yrs old,legal age,a grown woman,nobody can tell you what to do.If he treats you good and honestly loves you,then you have nothing to worry about.Your happiness is all that matters and if he makes you happy,stick with him.And all these people on here saying its wrong and not even legal,well this is what i think of that :F*CK OFF!!!!!!

My last girlfriend and I were roughly the same age gap apart and she was the best relationship of my life. I also know several people married with a similar number of years between. Its perfectly fine its not about age anyways.

I would question his motives!
That is really a bit old at that age range, if it was 28 and 35, that's differnt.
Life experiences really matter tons at your age. I would not recommend it, if you asked me as a friend.

No. Any one over the age of 18 can date and marry any one over the age of 18.
