I agree with you. I had one flu shot in my life and ended up with Pnumonia. Doctors and others claim that this is impossible to do, however each person reacts differently to these shots and there is no "normal" reaction in my opinion.

The problem is that there are SO many types of Flu viruses and each has the ability to change. The CDC tries to figure out which strain will be the worst and attempts to make a vaccine. Some times they are right and sometimes they are wrong. Usually those who get the Flu after a shot got a different strain of the flu while those who get sick from the vaccine thier body had not been exposed to that type of virus before which allows part of the virus to develope and they get sick.

Most people say they have the flu when in fact they have a cold.
The flu is a killer. The Spanish flu of 1918-1920 killed between 50 and 500 million people.
I did not have as much as a cold from 1976 until I got flu in 1999.
I thought that I was going to die. I did not move or eat for 6 days then it took another 2 weeks to get well.
To all of you that say they will never take this shot again I say wait for bird flu and I bet that you will be in the front of the queue.

What about all preventantive drugs,I say c'mon use your head and think. Don't take anything to prevent you taking Malaria, don't inoculate babies,I don't want that injection I've only got food poisoning it's only Salmonella, etc. etc. etc.I must say that I, the exact date evades me but it was an Asian Flu in 1957-59 that 100's died from it I was off work with it and boy was I sick. When the flu jag came out I took it every year, only once I missed it and yes I caught the flu.Maybe if you are allergic to eggs this could be the reason as it is incubated in eggs.THANKS for the Flu jab whoever concocted it.

You didn't read the info on flu jabs. If you weren't told you wouldn't know. Last time I was given a flu jab, I was warned about allergies, certain allergies would make you ill if you took the flu jab. If you have one of these allergies it would make you really ill. See your doctor, and tell him what happened. It may have triggered an allergic reaction to its ingredients.

I had the flu in 1997 and it put me in the hospital. I've had a flu shot every year since then and never been sick. Trust me, if you've never had a serious flu, you don't know what you're talking about.
The flu shot is made from dead bacillus. It didn't make you sick at all. You were already infected before you got the shot.

For most people, the flu shot is almost mandatory.
Yet we have a choice in the matter.
Did you get REALLY sick?
If you must protect yourself form the flu, you could try Tamiflu instead.

To directly answer your question, the person who came up with that idea was the guy who wanted to make a buck. Doctors have given up on telling people how to live healthy, so they now offer alternatives. Go ahead, stress yourself out, drain down your immune system, just take this pill or this shot and you might not get sick, but you will prolly have to be treated for the side affects of whatever you take.
I haven't had a flu shot in 16 years... had the flu once in that time.

Had the flu jab once, and will never have it again. I got the flu from the jab, and was in bed for days. I haven't had the shot since, and haven't had the flu since.
