Jack... I have had some of the best times of my life in church! It didn't matter which church... in the mormon church, I sat in the congregation and pretended to pick my nose, way out back, until the speaker cracked up! I got the "giggles" so bad in a catholic church, my daughter slugged me in the knee! And... best of all... in a lutheran church... well, perhaps I just shouldn't say. Anyway... That's what I think of church.

Which church? There are many. I go to the church I go to because it most closely matches my beliefs as found in the Bible. It is a place to learn more about God, to learn how to live a better life and to associate with others who are walking the same road I am on. Hearing the word of God and how it applies to my life is encouraging. I find strength in church. It recharges my batteries so to speak and better equips me to reach others for Christ which is what we are called to do.

I think church is a good thing. It is a place to worship God and pray to Him. However, I don't believe it is necessary to be close with Him. I don't go to church but I still talk to God atleast once a day. I pray for my family, for the war in Iraq to end, for the Darful conflict to end. etc, and most importantly I ask forgiveness. My folks are Catholic, but I consider myself Christian because I don't fully believe I am part of one particular Christian area.

I think the most important thing is to speak to God directly, and I don't believe you need to be in a church to do that. God bless!

I don't mind church. I believe one can be Christian (or whatever) with out attending services, but I also think it helps keep people on the right track. It's easier to get sidetracked if you don't have regular reminders or examples.

I think its usually Sunday. I wonder waht G-d thinks of it, never mind what I think.

The bible and practicing the principles is far more important. Lots of saved people out of church, lots in too.

I think it can help you with your life, and if you choose the right church, then you can make quality friendships.
