no, this is one of the reasons I am against the inclusive language thing that allows one to call the Holy Spirit "She" . Mary has been known as spouse of the Holy Spirit for generations because it says that the Holy Spirit overshadowed Mary and she conceived a son. What else is this condoning but, homosexual marriage if they call the Holy Spirit "She". It is disgusting I think.

I don't think is any body business if two persons of the same sex wants to get marry, those who doesn't believe in same sex marriage just don't marry some one the of the same sex. I would not even date certain type of women but I don't think I should care if some one else wants to marry her. No body has ever given not even a very good argument why two person of the same sex should not get marry. Any opinion I've heard is based on intolerance, demagogy, and superstition. The fact that the Bible to many appears to say so, even if it is so, it is just one more opinion. The fact that some one in the Bible attributes his opinion to a god it is some thing that should be a reason to giggle in this time and age. If a person wants to take the Bible as his or her guide that's fine, but don't try to impose that opnion to others or try to make laws about it.

The bible does forbid same sex having sex. Doesn't say anything about same sex marriage. But I think it forbids same sex marriage is a give. If you are a christian you have to believe what the bible says.BUT, I don't believe it is the place of a christian to speak out about it. The bible says the world is corrupt. We shouldn't be part of the world. I think it is saying you can't expect non-Christians to act like Christians. I don't think as a christian you should go around telling people what they are supposed to do. I think a christian should be setting a "christian" example to the world. But not condemning people. Sin is Sin. One sin isn't more worst than the other and we all sin.

That's my opinion. Let people live their life the way they think they should live it. Not my place to tell others they are going to hell because I might be there with them. We are only human and fallible after all. Oh, I am a christian by the way.

The only reason same sex marriage is banned is because it was forbidden by the Pope in the 10th century. It is forbidden by the Bible, and the ban was based on the idea that the constitution required Congress to enact laws respecting and establishing one religion to detriment and exclusion of all others. Religions other than those based on the Old Testament have no problem with same sex marriage, and to not allow it is to deny those people their legal right to live according to their faith.

Naturally I have to say yes, I do believe in it...my daughter will be marrying same sex this coming Jan. In our country same sex marriages are acceptable whereas when she moves, she will not be considered married and it will be illegal to claim so, no doubt they will have a tough road ahead at times.

Yes, love is much to rare a thing to waste. Look at all of the heterosexual couples getting married and them get divorced a few years, months, weeks, or even days later. These people deserve a chance at something that heterosexual people take for granted. It is also wrong to assume that Christians have a monopoly on marriage, there are other religions that will allow homosexuals to marry...

No way, because based on what the Bible says, God made Adam & Eve not Adam & Steve or Diana or Eve. Read Genesis 1:27,28; Genesis 2:20-25 and 1 Corinthians 6:9-11. Homosexuality is a gross sin in God's eyes.

I don't have a problem with it. I've been married for 16 years and I don't see how letting two guys or two ladys get married is going to have any affect on the sanctity of my marriage.

Who really has the right to tell some one else who they can or can't love?

I think, given all the world's problems, people waste way too much time complaining about same sex marriage. There are much bigger issues out there that we should be dealing with instead.

What gives you the right to judge another person? What gives you the right to tell them how to live and who to love?

If you believe in God then it is an issue between them and God no where do you come into the picture. They aren’t harming anyone, they are just wanting to express their love like everyone else does. Intervene in human right violations and stay out of people’s love lives.

I don't "believe" in it, I actively support the legalization of it.

And as a clergy person who can marry folks, I'm more than happy to marry same-sex couples. I only wish that by doing so I could confer upon them the same rights and priviledges of any other married couple.
