my boyfriend of 5 years has cheated on me previously and we have overcome and we are now happy together with 2 kids, but sometimes he gets very insecure and worys i will cheat on him how can i reassure him.

He is only feeling this way because of the fact he cheated on you it happens in most relationships where one partner has cheated. All you do is your best to reassure him. How ever with out trust in a relationship it is not going to work it may be worth pointing this out to him.

well the reason he is insecure is because of his own actions so its him who should be reassuring you that he wont do it again, not you feeding into his guilt and self pity!!
he is lucky it wasn't me he cheated on as his *** would be out the door!
Really huni leave him to it YOU dont need to reassure him HE should be rgeassuring you. The only thing you should reassure him of is if he cheats again he's out
Sorry i've a no tolorance for cheats!
Once your happy and he doesn't cheat again then thats all that matters

you only can to a certain point, he is the one who made a mistake by cheating on you in the first place,guess he is carrying alot of guilt and he has to learn to trust you for who you are and not for what he done in the past

that's his problem alone! If he feels that way, he brought it upon himself. You haven't given him any reason to feel insecure. He just feels that way cus he did it. With time he'll get over it!
