there is so many different kinds of butters? what is actually the best for you? or is a margarine the way to go?

Margarine is actually worse than butter.

I use unsalted butter.

My favorite is "can't believe it's not butter Lite" It tastes much better than the one with full fat and it has no cholesterol.
I really don't pay much attention to the controversy surrounding butter versus margarine because I only use real butter to cook with and prefer the taste of soft spread margarine for table use.

If I buy margarine, I get Country Crock, it tastes good and is cheap. When I buy real butter for a recipe, I always stick (pardon the pun) with Land 'O Lakes because that is what I grew up with.

I like to use I can't believe it's not butter 'cuz my family uses it and I've known it my whole life so, why not? :D

I use Becel margarine. It's trans fat and cholesterol free..no hydrogenated oil.

Magerine, with reduced fat...ect. "Healthy Choice" has a great tasting brand!

neither are good for you, use a spread such as avocado
