PLEASE answer!!!!!!!!!?

Ok, there is this guy I REALLY like. The problem is, he's 15, and I'm only 12. He's also my brother's friend. I realize I'm too young to date now, but I really want it to work out between us maybe in a few years. A few times I've been almost to the point of crying over it, because I really like this guy a lot, but I'm afraid he's too old for me. I've had other crushes before, but this seems way different somehow. We're both Christians, our families are too, and I've been praying about it, but there has not been an answer yet. I have liked this guy for a few months now, but I just try not to think of him because it hurts that I will have to wait a long time, and even then it might not work out!!!!What do you think I should do? :(

HI there. wow, I think you should talk with your mom. You are only 12 and if your mom or grandmother or maybe an aunt or cousin who is older is someone you feel you can speak with that would probably be better then getting suggestions from a stranger. Having crushes is part of growing up and sometimes a crush is a little harder then others and your right it might not work out, so how about letting it go for now, get busy with your other interest. I can guarantee you, very shortly you will forget about this crush and have a new one. Just take it easy and please talk with your parents if you can or someone in your family that you are close to.

I have actually been in this situation, only the guy was my sister's friend. I became good friends with him and waited patiently and just recently he asked me out. I am not saying that it will always work out like this, and I did end up waiting for 8 years. But, if it is meant to happen it will. Live your life and don't worry so much about "romance" you are very young, what will be will be and there is no use in crying over it.

for now just keep praying, and try to relax and have fun with him as a friend! Don't worry if he goes out with another girl for a bit either because you can wait a few years before dating him. He's not too old, just keep in touch with him and God wants things to work out between you, they will!

OK, you like him. Wait for what? Work out how? You're right, you are to young to date. But obviously you're not to young to care about someone. That's wonderful. Don't panic, don't cry. If you like him, I'm sure he's a nice boy. What I think you should do is nothing. It's ok to like him. I know you don't think so now. But believe me there will be plenty of boys in your life. Keep note to self. Why do you like him? Is he funny? Polite? Tall? Maybe he will be the standard for boys in your future when you are old enough to date.

If you stop thinking about boys for the same amount of time you've been alive, you will still not regret it at all later in life. You are way too young to have boy problems. Grow up and enjoy your youth as a girl. Spend time with your girlfriends and just have fun. You have plenty of time for boys later.

OMG!! you sound just like me but in a younger way. well I'm 15 and the guy i used (or still like) to like is 15 as well i don't know why but i really liked this guy more than any other guy. but i have cried for him i don't know why but i have. and now i don't know if i like him or not and i don't know if he likes me. but he would always look at me but not any more. I am a christian as well and he is too. well i guess we can relate to each other. his parents would always hug me and smile not any more. and the thing that is kind of buging me..... is that i think im starting to like his older brother and i dont want to like him or the other guy. Your 12 and he is 15? to me its not bad your 4 years younger am i right? see thats not bad at ALL!!

I think that if you really like him and if you are meant to be it will happen in time. You guys are both very young and I think you should wait untill you are older to pursue a relationship

well im sorry about what ur goin through i goin through it too!! it sucks i no but all u have to do is:


1. keep ur mind off of him AND/OR
2. hang out wit ur friends and like do somethin REALLY fun



both of these things work TRUST me they help me keep my mind off the guy i want but still every time he signs on msn or something i freak out and sign out then back on i know its wierd but its the only wayy he talks too me!!

since its ur brothers friend and hes older then u juss wait a lil longer and ur feelings for him MIGHT go away for me its been about like 4 months.....or u can get ur friends to go to the movies (the same movie as ur brother and the guy u like) and "not" notice that ur sitting beside him lmao....
its sneaky but works MOST of the time
