40 din ki agnipariksha is all related to a wife's expierience in her husband's home where she does not get the kind of respect she should get but still she fights for it.
This is a story from a serial "Woh rehne wali mehlon ki"
Pari which is the lead character in this serial(after her mother who played Rani in the same serial) belongs to a rich family but her views r traditional.
She sacrifies her love for her cousin sister & marries the son of that lady who tried to kill her mother but the person she marries does not love her & is engaged with another girl whom he's planning to marry after 40 days coz there family astrologer has told her that pari will die after 40 days
despite of knowing the fact she reacts very normally & is very happy to face the destiny.
This is basically the 40 din ki agnipariksha & I am sure that after 40 days she will still remain alive & after all the injuries she has faced she would be able to win her husband Somya.
