My Great grandmother was Sarah Jane Meeks born 1871 on Indian Reservation Sandersville in Laurel Miss. I have photos. She married James A wells when her mother came to visit she would have to interpret for my grandfather Henry W Wells. My aunt told me her mothers name was horse (something) I believe her dads name was GW Meeks. I would appreciate anyone being able to give me some guidence. I am interested in learning my heritage, I am not asking for benefits of any kind. Thank You

To find your family history, go to ancestry.com and check out their database, tools and resources. It's a great site and a lot more secure than using Yahoo Answers for your family tree search.

But... please do not post so many personal details about yourself and your family online! There are so many scammers and con artists out here, you have no idea who might see this post and try to con you. Now all these strangers know your grandmother's maiden name which may not sound like much, but a savvy con artist can take the information in your post and use it to exploit you.
