on friday night,over thanksgiving break,my boyfriend texted me when i asked if we could talk for awhile,that he was drunk.his (25 yr old?) brother is a firefighter,& my bf was helping out over there,& he said his bro & the other fire fighters let him drink.he's over 18, so there's no problem there,but i'm just worried about him,b/c he's kinda wild & tends to get in trouble.i've seen what happens plenty of times when friends got addicted to alcohol,& i don't want it to happen to my bf.i luv him so much,& i'm just really worried about him,that even though he says he won't get addicted,i can't help wondering that he might b/c of him being kinda wild & his tendency for trouble.he smoked 1 time too,but he hasn't done that since,so i'm not worried about that,unless it happens again.but was it right of me to tell on him,b/c i'm so worried about him?we're both in high school too,senior yr.i just don't want him to get addicted,& his dreams get gone b/c of alcohol.he doesn't know i told either.

i forgot to mention that he's drank alcohol once or twice before. that's why i'm worried.

once in awhile wont hurt him. If it becomes habit it will. dont be so crazy about him drinking one time..or a few times. Its good you care hes very lucky to have someone like you. But dont be so worried <3 :]

I think that you overreacted. I think that you would have a reason to tell if he was drinking all the time but that's not the case here. He was with his brother who I'm sure was watching out for him, and it's not like he does it all the time. I think you should try to ease up a little.

Yes you were right. Don't let him find out though. If he keeps going downhill do not hesitate to ditch him. You are a smart girl and can do so much better than him. Do not waste your time trying to save him!

Honey, you need to chill! Does he go out and get drunk every day of the week? No? Then don`t worry about it. I would definitely tell him how you feel about it though!

THAT WAS STUPID YOU SEE THEY HAVE TO GO THRU TRAINING AND SKILLS SO HE WOULD HAVE FOUND OUT IN THE LONG RUN FOR HISSELF YOU JUST MESSED UP HE MAY NEEDED THIS TO MAKE HIM WHOLE YOURE IN A LOT OF TROUBLE WITH HIM SO BE READY FOR A HARD ONE
