First off these are not cults, they are the two largest religions in the world. Anyone can say they believe one thing and do just the opposite. Just like muslim women who do not properly cover themselves, they are not following the command of God. So they go to the mosque cover their hair only there and during the prayer. But it is quite clear in the Quran that they are to cover themselves. It is between them and God. I would like to think I am a good muslim, I try my hardest, but we can all do better. I believe I must be humble and thankful for what blessings I do have. There are so many that are much less fortunate that you or I. We as humans were made to have error, we were all programed differently. It is Allahs qadar (pre-destinty) He knows every little detail in this world, every rain drop and every thought in everyones head. So perhaps if we all felt we had to fear something, and not the judicial system, we would be much better people. I smile at everyone I see, even when they glare or snicker at me. Even a smile is a form of charity. I do not think I am any better than the next person, muslim or non muslim. We are all humans and our deeds are what ultimatley matters on the last day. We have no right to be proud, arrogant and self rightous. Anyhow thats all for now!!!

This is for 'St. Mike'

I dont know why didnt that 'Imam' answer you back, when it is that simple.

Anyone can be misleaded by just quoting a part of the entire sentence...
"They killed him" draws sympathy for the killed person.

But the entire sentence proves us wrong
" They killed him because he had murdered thousands"

Now that justifies the part...
Similarly read the entire part. And if you do, you will find that the verse refers to the battlefield. In a war, if you find the 'infidels' who had tortured you and who want to kill you, kill them.
The Quran here refers to the pagan people of Makkah who had tortured muslims, looted their property, boycotted them just for no other reason save they had become muslims.

So when the Quran says kill those who had tortured them (ONLY IN A WAR) does it not make sense? As plain as that... Is this inhuman??? Any war general will say this.

But Almighty GOD, ALLAH wants more than this. What is it?

The verse continues, "But if the infidels want peace and want to surrender, ESCORT them to a place of safety"

The maximum a very merciful general will do is to say "Let them GO"

But here Islam says, "ESCORT them to a place of safety"

Now do the justice dude, and read the entire part.

Peace Be with you,

I am completely willing to sacrifice my ego. This is a journey however. Sacrificing one's ego is not like taking the trash out. It takes decades to fully understand the concepts of servitude and patience. Some people are blessed to be born with these traits, while others never fully reach them in life. It would be unfair to ask every Christian and Muslim to sacrifice his or her ego right now as it is for most people impossible. It is also unfair for you to single out these religions-- every major religion requires its followers to ultimately sacrifice their ego, especially Buddhism.

After all, one cannot follow and believe in a supreme Lord when one's ego is continuously getting in the way.

In the name of Allah, Most gracious, Most merciful.

Look Brother, Islam and Christianity are just two different roads. But only one leads to the Desired Destination.

The thing is, If one is a bad driver he is Gonna Crash anyway, Does not matter which road he is driving in. Can you blame the road for your bad driving? No...

The difference is, ISLAM gives you all the road signs you need to reach your destination safely.

ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS, READ THE SIGNS AND DRIVE ACCORDINGLY. AND NOT BRAKE THE RULES. YOU WILL MOST ASSUREDLY REACH YOUR DESTINATION.

hope this answers your question.

Allah or Jesus?

By Rick Mathes

Last month I attended my annual training session that's required for maintaining my state prison security clearance. During the training session there was a presentation by three speakers representing the Roman Catholic, Protestant and Muslim faiths who explained their belief systems. I was particularly interested in what the Islamic Imam had to say.

The Imam gave a great presentation of the basics of Islam complete with a video. After the presentations, time was provided for questions and answers. When it was my turn I directed my question to the Imam and asked: Please, correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand that most Imams and clerics of Islam have declared a holy jihad [Holy war] against the infidels of the world. And, that by killing an infidel, which is a command to all Muslims, they are assured of a place in heaven. If that's the case, can you give me the definition of an infidel?"

There was no disagreement with my statements and without hesitation he replied, "Non-believers!"

I responded, So, let me make sure I have this straight. All followers of Allah have been commanded to kill everyone who is not of your faith so they can go to heaven. Is that correct? The expression on his face changed from one of authority and command to that of a little boy who had just gotten caught with his hand in the cookie jar. He sheepishly replied, Yes.

I then stated, Well, sir, I have a real problem trying to imagine Pope John Paul commanding all Catholics to kill those of your faith or Pat Robertson or Dr. Stanley ordering Protestants to do the same in order to go to heaven! The Imam was speechless.

I continued, I also have problem with being your friend when you and your brother clerics are telling your followers to kill me. Let me ask you a question-would you rather have your Allah who tells you to kill me in order to go to heaven or my Jesus who tells me to love you because I am going to heaven and wants you to be with me? You could have heard a pin drop as the Imam hung his head in shame.

Chuck Colson once told me something that has sustained me these 20 years of prison ministry. He said to me, Rick, remember that the truth will prevail. And it will!

Kill those who want to do harm onto you. You do not kill just for fun. Muslims kill those who are a threat. Stand for what you believe in but don't be quick to commit a crime that may be unjust for surely you will suffer for your wrong deed.
