That they, like Jesus, are no part of this worldly system because it belongs to Satan for the time being:
That they attend at least three meetings per week to praise God and learn how to reach out to save people:
That they study the Bible every day:
That they love their neighbor.
That they love you because they want to??
Because they do God's Will and His will is theirs??

That they are meek and are abused by the world just as it is written.
That they are the sheep.
That Jehovah God is their Great Shepherd???

Did you know???

These facts about Jehovah's Witnesses are perhaps relevant to this question. The more one compares this Christian religion with others, the more remarkable it is shown to be.

1. Jehovah's Witnesses have no paid clergy. Yet they remain tightly organized with more than 6.5 million active Jehovah's Witness preachers (about 16 million associate themselves with the religion). Even fulltime preachers and workers at their branch offices are unpaid volunteers.

2. There is no elite class among Jehovah's Witnesses. Even the few 'anointed' among them enjoy no special privileges in their congregations on earth. An anointed person (one of those relative few with a heavenly hope) is not elevated above his fellow congregants in any way, and he may not even qualify for appointment as a simple 'deacon' or elder. There are no titles; EVERYONE is addressed as 'brother' or 'sister'.

3. No person benefits economically from the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Even the 8 to 20 men who serve on their Governing Body receive simply room, board, medical care, and reimbursement for certain personal expenses according to the exact same provision as every other branch volunteer.

4. About a hundred men have served on Jehovah's Witnesses' Governing Body committee during the past 125 years or so. The vast majority of them have spent the vast majority of their adult lives volunteering for their organization's purposes, and the vast majority have died faithfully and near-pennilessly while still under their legal 'vow of poverty'.

5. Amazingly, Jehovah's Witnesses did not splinter as a sect from some other religion. Instead, a truly tiny but sincere group of bible students studied only the Scriptures to determine the will of God. Thus their religion remains absolutely independent of and not carrying the sins of Christendom's history, yet carries the authority of Christ's teachings.

6. Despite the distortions of anti-Witnesses, throughout their modern history Jehovah's Witnesses have refused to claim divine inspiration or infallibility for their teachings. They have pointed to the bible (and not any particular translation) as the only inspired infallible means of knowing God's thoughts. For over 125 years, their teachings have been presented as merely the results of sincere bible research by imperfect but godly humans.

Actually, it is more than that. Remember, the figures they release of just the active publishers. To get a more accurate number, you have to look at the attendance for the Memorial.

Consider this, in the beginning, the Jews, who branched off the beliefs of the time, were a small group overall, compared to the religions of the time. They were the first of God's Beloved People, but as prophesied, they fell away.

In the beginning, Christians, who branched off the Jews, were a small group overall, compared to the Jews and all religions of the time. They were the second of God's Beloved People, but as prophesied, they fell away.

Three is perfection. In these last days, is there a small group, who has branched off the Christians, who finally represents perfection and is ready to pass through the narrow gate with Christ? It can't be the whole of Christendom, as there are many Christian groups, such as the KKK that the majority don't agree with. And than there are the Jim Jones movement, who committed suicide in the 70s. They firmly believed they have God's Blessings. Christ said there would be many who claim to come forth in his name. So, who are the rights ones who do. Is it the JWs, the Amish, the Mormons, so some other small group, compared to the whole?

Anytime a question is posted about the Jehovah's Witnesses, you can guarantee lots of mis-information is going to be posted as well. JW's are encouraged to read the bible..the ENTIRE bible. I know lots of places where English and Spanish congregations meet together...and enjoy each others company ouside of The Kingdom Hall. The reason there are seperate meetings is that some learn easier in English..some learn easier in spanish. Its not like 2 seperate things are being taught. JW's believe that Jesus is gods SON..just like it says in the bible. JW's dont celebrate holidays becuase of their pagan origin. Anyone can look up the origin of christmas and learn it has nothing to do with Jesus. If you really want info about JW's go directly to the source.

I do happen to be already aware of that fact because I am one. Witnesses are known for their diligent study of the Bible and try to base their teachings on the Bible. Although we are by no means perfect we do try to follow the Bible in our every aspect of our lives. It's pretty sad that people can't see beyond their own negative bias towards Witnesses and really know what we're all about.
One of the most common misconceptions is that we don't believe in Jesus or don't accept him as our Savior. Witnesses are aware that the only way to the father is through his son Jesus who gave his life as a ransom for all of mankind. (John 14:6) We just studied that point today in our lesson!
Another one is: "There a cult!" If I got paid every time I heard that I'd be rich! A cult is defined as the following: 1. a particular system of religious worship, esp. with reference to its rites and ceremonies. or A religion or sect considered to be false, unorthodox, or extremist, with members often living outside of conventional society under the direction of a charismatic leader. Witnesses are normal people who live, work, and play in mainstream society. Our only leader is Jesus Christ.
Here's a link of what Witnesses really believe and the scriptural support. Hope this might help clear up any misconceptions about Witnesses.

Yeah, and did you know they feel that only 144,000 people are going to heaven (so the JW"S think), and uh they have already been chosen. Yet what about the other good people, ah no heaven for them because they are not JW. But yet I know the Jw sit down for passover or whatever holiday they call it and they pass around the unleavened bread. And only the choosen that are going to heaven are worthy of this bread, very few world wide eat the bread and these people know, because God told them, that they are going to heaven so they eat. I also know the JW do not feel they should associate with unbelievers of their religion, and rarely watch tv or use computer cuz they are bad influences. Which brings me to- why are you here? Did you know the only way to the Father is through the Son? Did you ever read the Gospel of John, you know the one, where the JW's changed the bible and deny Christ is actually God. GOD does not pick from only one religion. Did you know?

Funny, I just finished telling somebody, in answer to another comment, that I've never heard anyone use the argument that there are about 2 billion Christians in the world, as a reason to believe. And now you come up with that silly argument on behalf of Jehovah's Witnesses. Do you know how many Buddhists there are? How many Muslims? Does their large number make their religion true?
Read the Bible for yourself, and compare your beliefs with what the Bible says. Don't follow any religious leader blindly. Only God is good.

Being Good is impossible in the eyes of a perfect God. Nobody is able to keep the commandments as the way God tells us to. God goes beyond the physical and is even concerned with our thoughts. While you might be considered a wonderful person in the eyes of man, it is not good enough when you face a infinitely power God, who will not allow sinners into heaven. The fact is Jesus is God in the flesh and he died in rose again. Christians hope is in Jesus, because they know he was perfect and they trust that taking on his spirit will give them the boldness to stand in front of God without fear. 144,000 refers to the house of Israel in the end times. The amount of people saved will be far greater than that. Here is scientific evidence that the Christianity is the only true religion

Ranting is a contravention of the community regulations. you ought to move examine your Bible. Matthew 24 and Revelation to John 21. Amos 3:7 tells us this: For the Sovereign Lord Jehovah gained't do a ingredient until eventually he has printed his unique matter to his servants the prophets. This obviously shows that Jehovah ought to have real servants the following on earth... and it isn't Christendom.

No I did not know these things about Jehovah's Witnesses.

This is what I KNOW about Jehovah's Witnesses.

1. They stand in front of gas stations, come to your door, wanting to give you pamphlets talking about health and life. When you open the pamphlet up, out falls a WATCHTOWER!

If their religion is so good, why do they hide the Watchtower?

2. They tell you that your religion is wrong. THEIR religion is right!
That is narrow-minded.

3. I am NOT a "sheep." I am a wolf. I can make my own decisions about religion. I do not need a Jehova's Witness to "save" me.

4. They claim to be all part of one organization. That is NOT true. We have a spanish Jehova's Witness church in town, and a English-speaking Jehova's Witness church in town. BOTH NEVER!! get together because of the language difference. If both believe in God, language should not be an issue. But it is a BIG issue!! My wife is Spanish, so the spanish "sheep" come to our house every week, and I get the english speaking "sheep."

5. We have signs posted; no trespassing, NO JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES, but still they knock on our door.

6. When we are in a city park with our son, they send their CHILDREN dressed in suits to approach people (while they wait in their cars) who are having a picnic. I call the police. The police tell them they cannot give out their literature in a city park. They leave, come back an hour later.

7. They study only PART of the bible. There are sections they are forbidden to read. I once opened a bible to a specific quote where Jesus said "Go NOT door-to-door." The man who was a witness said he is not allowed to read that passage in the bible.

8. Our secretary at work is a Jehovah's Witness. She is "out sick" every Wednesday so she can go to church.

And if you eat, drink, breath the air, have a job, a house, family, clothes, medicines, school, etc, etc. - You ARE part of this worldly system. So get off that fantasy belief!! And our world does not belong to Satan. And stop trying to get more members in your church with the claim of "trying to save others."

Now, get a real job and stop shoving your beliefs down our throats!!
