I recently just moved and im looking to meet new friends here in singapore. Somebody to do stuff with, you know show me around, ins nad outs of the city... help please.

I'm a guy from Singapore. Not gay, just giving you an idea.
Go to a pub or danceclub, plenty of them. Go look around. Ask a taxi driver or an employee of a hotel. Someone's bound to know of a nightclub. By the way, the red-light district is in Geylang, which also has some of the best durian. -.- Little tidbit fact. Sentosa, a resort island has 3 beaches. But I doubt you'll get much luck at Sentosa. But I think school's on, so I doubt you'll see much girls there. But Sentosa's got plenty of attractions, such as Fort Siloso, where you can find out about the past, or the Merlion(actually a replica, real one is at the Fullerton Hotel). Go visit the Fountain of Wealth, located at Suntec City. Try the cuisine at hawker centres or coffee shops. Sorry for the random ideas, but you can do those things if you have nothing better to do.
Go onto Wikipedia and look up Singapore, they'll have all the basic info you need. Sorry for taking up your time, and I'll be leaving now. Enjoy your visit to Singapore!
