just curious to know .. what comes to mind when people think about the word "EXOTIC" e.g: dark looking.. etc..
is it a good thing or a bad thing?

you look slightly exotic - it suggests an unusual mix of characteristics in a pleasing sense
people often call me exotic because I am a mix of french, hawaiian and tahitian and have very dark skin and hair but fine features and very aquilline blue eyes

Good question! I say any unusual features or combinations that don't generally apply to the dominant race that one is. For some, it's every feature that is opposite of an Anglo Saxon...often times, guys say black women or blondes are not considered exotic...that's not true...I've seen both kinds that are exotic.
Features such as slanted eyes generally will get you labeled exotic right away. Tan skin, ambiguous race
Think Carmen Electra, Nicole Richie...Adriana Lima is the posterchild of exotic

Exotic is HOT!
It depends on where you come from. Asians consider Americans exotic. Americans consider them exotic. So I guess it depends where you come from.
Usually when I think of exotic, I think more of the Asia, South America, and Africa.

well if talking about opposite sex anything out of the ordinary or nit the same as your self. i was seeing a phillipino girl, my self being white so i had an exotic gf but because we live in vancouver bc canada she did not have an exotic bf (3 major groups white, east indian, and chinesse but lots of other asain communites.)
its a matter of attraction. in this case yes i have a horrible case of yellow fever, plz excuse the slang., a great attraction to asain women.

Exotic in my opinion is a rare girl or guy; rare in a way of you dont see them very often, they are not the typical "BLONDE blue eyed" girl.. They are this dark skinned chicks that might come from some island in "Italy" ... And have ashy eyes, and a beautiful dark skin and beautiful face that you dont see around the corner. A natural looking trace and descendency.
