Neither hair color intimidates me, but Hugh Hefner is different. He has a thing for dumb bleached blond bimbos. Many American men seem to find blonds more attractive than brunettes. You mentioned an Arab being hateful to you. Maybe that is how he flirts. I shudder to think that anyone admires Ben Stein, and you can expect such a man to send dumb messages to redheads, blonds or brunettes. A Chinese man who had a store near me said some men from China were coming for business one weekend and asked me to find some prostitutes for them. I told him I knew where to find some Korean and Japanese hookers, but he wanted blonds. That is "The Grass is Greener" syndrome. Your being a gorgeous blond may well anger some men, since they know such a beautiful woman as you will never look at them.

i thought blondes had more fun and brunettes were seen as intelligent. i thought red heads were the intimidating ones. i'm a brunette and i'm not too intimidating. blondes seem dumb but many aren't.

I think that blondes have the rep for having more fun...so that might explain why blondes get more attention....besides, I think that brunettes seem more serious and "deep" than other people based on hair color. or if you're out...the whole blonde rep might return a better result if a nighter is the purpose for their attention. keep to your beautiful brown, honey!

gotta love two sterotypes in the same sentence.
theres quite plenty 'unapproachable' blondes as there are quite plenty brunettes whom the only reason they may be intimidating is to flash ponderance on what subterranian levels the conversation would dwell on.

The only thing that makes a girl appear more or less approachable is her countenance. If she has a gentle, friendly look, she's easy to approach. But if she has that b*tchy "I'm too good for you" look, then she's a tough one to approach.

Hair color never comes into the picture.

Its because people associate blonds with being flirty and bubbly. Thus easier to talk to.
