It is a nervous condition. Really. Happens to me sometimes too. I find it useful to get away from the source of aggravation.

That happens to me every now and again. My eye doctor told me it happens when my eye gets tired/has been straining, or when it gets a little too dry. He recommended eye drops. It seemed to help. I know how annoying it can be. Good luck.

I don't know why this happens, but I get it especially if I am under stress, like playing tennis and suddenly this damn eyelid start flipping out and I miss the ball etc. Very annoying, hopefully in the other answers we will find out.

I have had that happen a lot. Particularly if I have taken a lot of vitamin B6.
Well, it wasn't that I took too much it was that my body didn't need any extra. Too much vitamin B can cause nerve damage so be careful.

Just muscle spasms. Could be from straining the eyes.

Take your vitamins, it is from a vitamin deficiency. I'm not sure if it's B or D though so just take a daily multi and it should stop.
It used to happen to me all the time until i started taking my vitamins.
