ive decided i want to break up w/ my boyfriend. its harder than you think though. we are VERY different in numerous ways including religion. well he tried to press his religion on me, so i suggested he might want to break up w/ me(i would hoping he would) well apparently, hes really in love with me(and im more or less, not, i kinda like someone else) so i made him cry(apparently) so i guess thats not such a good idea to even suggest it. can you give me some good tips on how to gently say to him, i cant be with him anymore. i dont really want to do it in person because i will end up not saying anything, cuz im too nervous. how do i say it nicely, w/o making a big deal??? i just want to be friends, but i have a feeling no matter what i do, he will always be heartbroken and not want to talk to me.

well from the way it sounds he is maybe a Christian (if not then this probly wont help that much but i will try anyway) if he is Christian then u should point out that the Bible says not to "evangelize date" (date non believers to make them believers.) and that if he is really serious about his religion then he would not want to do this (this doesnt mean that he cant be ur friend) also sence u r his friend and u care about his life and the things that r important to him (if his religion is important to him) then u should say that u dont want to be doing something with him that would bring him down in his religion. also if he is a true Christian he will respect the way that u feel and u should tell him how u feel bc if u stay with him more then it could end up doing more harm to his faith in the end (which i dont think that u want to do bc u r his friend and u care about him and his life) if he really cares about u then he will see that breaking up with u is the best thing to do. and if u want to tell him this and u deside to use my advise then u can tell him that this came from another Christian who is goin to be a preacher, so it is from the heart and i think that it is what would be best for both of u.

ps u should also make sure that he knows u still want to be there for him and to support him with what ever he needs help through.
and if u have any questions my yahoo is dracius_008, i will be happy to help

this always happens to me . just tell him what u think what is best for u and for me. dont make a big deal about it. tell him that u luv him too . to show that u care even though u might dont. just say this relationship isn't going any where and trust me it is not easy than u think it is to break up with u . but we just cant go on. i luv u but it is tyme to say good bye to our relationship. but not least to our friendship. please forgive. me from the bottom of your heart.
