i know exactly what you mean. Why are guys like this. I am kind of in the same situation. Except we live together, and he has bought a ring, he has had it for almost 2 months and refuses to ask and give it to me. He always says we are going to get married someday and blah blah blah but he doesnt seem to want to go forward. oh ya, we just bought a house together too, but he does not want to make the full commitment. guys are so dumb. LOL!!

Why should he ask? You're sleeping with him already. Right? If he wanted to marry you he would. And while he is attending Pharmacy school he won't. I didn't so much as date in Pharmacy school because of the time demands. Of course during the breaks between quarters and summer, I would always try to arrange as many booty calls as I could. Sounds like he and I are doing things the same. He of course has an exclusive booty call. Me? I liked to mix things up.

So........I would recommend the following. Tell him you would love to be his wife, but refuse to be his whore. And when he calls it off right then, you will be free to start finding a good guy....who lives nearby.

P.S. mgibson92 told you that a wedding license and a ring are just symbols. Yeah? Well so is MONEY! And that's pretty damned important!

Good luck my dear.

What does marriage mean to you? He's still at school, let him graduate and find a job. I don't know about your financial situation but getting married can be expensive. What with setting up house together - it can be a strain. I'd advise you to live together for a while before you start on in with the thumbscrews. Who knows - living together may not be the pastel-pink heaven you think it will be. Slow down. What's the rush? If he's the 'one' then time is immaterial.

if he is attending school and you are in school to then give him a little more time cause while he is studying you are doing the same thing to so don't knock it plus when you'll move in together you'll really know what up then and don't pressure him cause you has study just like him why don't you sit him down and talk with him and just set a date then you will know when he plans to marry you and stop stressing good luck

you don't say how old you both are and you don't say how long you have been dating..

could be he isn't ready to make that type of life-long commitment.. you should both focus on finishing your school before you even think about getting married.. at least that's my opinion..
