Because their tax dollars are funding those ESL students, while their children are not being given the attention they need from their teachers. I think those same parents should sue the state.

I wouldn't take them out if ESL was done correctly. I did take my daughter out of a class where they taught non-English speaking students in English with the students that spoke English. Almost none of the children spoke any English at all, and we are not paying for private school so my child can suffer from lack of attention(not to mention having no classmates to talk to). I think they should be integrated after they speak the language sufficiently enough to socialize with the other children, and they should do it by immersion so they can integrate as soon as possible. But it shouldn't be a part of the other children's education to slow down because the other kids still need to learn English.

Because some parents feel that ESL students are dominating the classroom and their children are not getting an appropriate education since the ESL students slow the class bc they require more assistance due to language barriers.

What is ESL students? A lot of people around here are home schooling with one parent taking the job of teaching several at home by computer. In every case their grades inproved.
They learn by computer. But they are out of the teaseing and abuse that is so common among the students today.
In small groups they just learn better the article said.

This is a fairly regular occurrance in Central Coast Calif. The English speaking kids can't get the education they need because all the schools' resources are being used up by (ostensibly) illegal immigrant children.
This is reality in America folks. This is one of many good reasons why illegal immigration must be stopped.
If kids don't learn ....they later in life don't earn.
Another chop to the middle class and their kids.
Dummies due for enslavement by the wealth upper class of America who are the perps of this evil in the first place.
