Is there anybody into biblical studies?

Question

I was wondering if there is anyone who is into biblical studies that is in need of accountability and just wants to talk to someone about bible. I am a sophomore at columbia international university and am majoring in Biblical Theology and Biblical Languages and would love to talk to someone concerning anything relating to the bible. I was thinking that maybe skype or something like that would be a good way to commuicate and challenge each other.

to the second person that responded: When I say challenge I mean that people should challenge each other in there reading and learning. I believe that the only way to do soul-winning is to actually know what you believe and know why you believe it. I believe that too many Christians are lazy when it comes to studying and need to not just shove their faith in peoples faces without studying and learning the material that they base their whole lives on. This is what I believe God wills for all his people.

and another thing you said "MOST COLLEGE STUDIES DON'T ADDRESS NEEDS." - I would like to say that maybe this attitude is the reason that Christians have the stereotype of being some of the most ignorant people on earth. Maybe they do address REAL needs and maybe some people are simply too afraid to answer those needs accordingly. 1 Peter 3:15 tells us to be ready to give a reason for the hope that is within you. Let us take this responsibility very seriously, it is our job.

I have recently become interested in biblical studies. Even though my father was a pastor I never really understood or tried to understand the Bible till now. All the sudden all I want to do is learn about the Bible. I want to know how to defend my faith. So we might not be on the same intellectual level, but I might have some good questions for you.

I'm into biblical studies, I've taken a couple classes and I'm presently learning Greek. If you'd like to communicate with me back and forth about those things, that would be nice. But not the accountability thing, because we are too different in age, etc. But if you find someone with more in common with you, that would be better for you.

i'm inquisitive about your credentials because I truly have met professors with PhD's in chemistry, genetics, neurobiochemistry, biochemistry, biology, physics etc that each and every one believe God had a hand in creation. *hi Rosie, lengthy time period no see. I have been in study of the bible 43 years.

I like so much the way Moses does things [ sure he had help beyond imagination ],
I ask myself, if he were here today how would he arrange all this information to
get the most out of the least space, so that is what I have been working to do.

I find the bible is not religion, religion is so limited and does not seem to want to grow.

So the more we know, the more we don't know as God is so great, the best we can do, is the best we can do and life is to short, we are so imperfect as one or as a multitude. Now we know why there are so many religions.

But I do believe every attempt was made for us to have this book, I am so glad that I do have it, and I am so sorry for those who did not have it. When Jesus comes again I hope I do not have much to learn in order to teach all those who want to know it all as I do after resurrected as Acts 17:31 and 24:15 or John 5:20,22,26-29 or Dan.12:2; Isa.26:19; 2Cor.5:10; Heb.9:27; 1Cor.15:22-28 AS IN ADAM ALL DIE, EVEN SO IN CHRIST SHALL ALL BE MADE ALIVE.

I LOVE THE BIBLE MATH AND KNEW I COULD NOT UNDERSTAND THE BIBLE UNTIL I HAD A FOOL PROOF WAY TO UNDERSTAND THE MATH AND THE TIME INVOLVED.
