What's a good side dish with liver and onions

Onions, gravy, mashed potatoes and green beans. Yummy!!!!!

After you cook the liver, break up some cooked bacon and chopped up onions. Sata the bacon and onions together, go can make gravy if you like. I do not like anything with gravy, but most people do. I like steam rice, and steam green vegetables.

I worked in a German restaurant where we would saute a combonation of diced onions and diced red apple over the liver with a bacon strip or 2 layed over it. Then serve with either smashed potatoes with gravy or try potatoe pancakes with apple sauce for dipping these in, or always can serve a baked potatoe with a veggie or salad. good luck

Mashed potatoes. And some brussell sprouts, lol.

But personally, the only way I would serve it would be like Rumaki.
