Hi dear, definitely you've made a good choice, because Tea Tree Bar Soap ( including Paul Mitchell's) are very suitable exactly for problematic skin, prone to acne and irritations, and as well as it does not harm the skin as most of the other soaps does. It is a soap, which is mild for the skin and work for Acne on the chest and shoulders too.
The properties of Tea Tree Oil are studies and proven from years. Another great advantage is that it is a totally natural product and is not toxic and you can use it as long as you wish. As a whole Tea Tree Oil kills the bacteria, which are the cause of multiple skin conditions, including Acne, has a strong anti-inflammatory action. Use it everyday on the affected areas from acne on your body, with gentle massage, DO NOT RUB IT, and never use too hot water, just a medium lukewarm would be great.
Hope that is of help. Wish you luck..
Have a great time!

i have used and I'm still using Tea Tree soap, its a wonderful natural product. mine isn't by Paul Mitchell, its Thursday Plantation (Australian Brand). Tea Tree is great for acne, its anti bacterial and anti inflammatory so it helps with redness of the skin or the blemish. I use it as a face wash and also as a shower gel. its fab and really does work. Not harsh like other acne products. good luck.

For acne of the body, try something called "Panoxyl bar". its a 10% benzoyl peroxide. Use something rough to scrub with (make sure THAT is washed and dried regularly) and let the lather stay on a minute or so.
Works great. It's pricy (about 7 bucks - at walgreens) but keep it dry and it should last a few months)
Good luck
