Existence of God: facts and figures Does God exist?

If you are a theist... you already believe in the Existence of God! If you are an atheist... you look forward to clues which would scientifically or otherwise prove the Existence of God.

Both the theories are correct. It is only saying that the glass is half full and the other half empty! Belief in the Existence of God stems from extreme faith in the system of God the Almighty Creator. Being on the highest level of manifestation... human beings understand that nothing gets created on its own.

If we believe in the fact that the whole cosmos is the creation of God then we believe in the surmise that "God Does Exist". On the contrary atheists desire a proof of Existence of God. As per Jainism beliefs there is no Existence of God and they do not believe in the existence of a Creator. According to Jainism the Cosmos exists from times immemorial.

Believing in the Existence of God is like believing in the existence of a flower. Even though a flower may not be directly visible to us but we can feel its presence by the fragrance it emits... God also exists but we cannot see it due to the limitations of the senses. God the Almighty is beyond the capture of the senses and the mind.

Why is it so that strong nonbelievers of God tend to believe in God the moment they face abnormal adversities in life. The sweet small voice which seems to come from within the body... the voice of our soul the atman within... is it not God in its miniscule form guiding us always and ever? Does it not confirm the Existence of God in its entirety?

Why do we at all require more proofs regarding Existence of God? The movement of the stars, the planets and the cosmic system as a whole... is it not governed by the invisible hands of God the Almighty Creator of the Cosmos.

Bhagavad Gita... the most sacred of all Scriptures existing on Mother Earth confirms the existence of the Almighty God. As narrated in Bhagavad Gita... God the Almighty explains the reasons of exploding the self... the start of the journey of the various Souls Atmans... and creation of the Cosmos itself.

If there was no God the Almighty Creator... then the concept of big bang theory itself would have failed prematurely. No God... no big bang theory... no creation of the Cosmos and there would never have been a solar system nor our Mother Earth and even us.

If we do not believe in the Existence of God it is for the reason that senses and the mind are unable to provide a logistical end to our arguments... we need to believe in the fact that God the Almighty Creator is not the form of a human being... neither it has any other form whatsoever.

God the Almighty Creator has to be a gaseous formation! Looked upon from the angle of the senses and the mind we perceive the whole cosmos to be made up of solid matter and it is this surmise which does not allow us to peep beyond the limitations of the senses and the mind.

If we are to believe in the Existence of God... we need to remember that the whole cosmos is made up of the basic building block of the nature... the atoms and the molecules. And beyond the clusters of the atoms and the molecules nothing else exists in the whole Cosmos except Ether which accounts for the empty black space in the Cosmos.

Whatever be the form of God... it is definitely in the form of energy and that too pure energy. It is a different matter that during the time of the big bang... this cluster of pure energy we know as God (the combined power of all the purified souls Atmans in their pristine state is what we know as God the Almighty Creator) scatters all over the Cosmos.

All souls start their cosmic journey of 8.4 million manifestations and it is at the fag end of the cosmic life that the Soul Atman comes back to is pristine pure form. At the time of dissolution of the Cosmos all these purified souls combine together to form what we know as God the Almighty Creator.

We may not believe in the fact that God does not have power to create... but not to believe in the Existence of God would be an anomaly. The whole creation of God is like a mighty computer which runs on a system of predefined parameters. As you perform so shall you get... nothing more or less! As we pray... accordingly be with the results of the prayers! More on existence of god here- http://www.godrealized.org/existence_of_god.html

The important thing to recognize here is that the Spinozan "god" is mindless. There cannot be both a mindful and mindless cause of the cosmos. The question is not whether we call the thing "god" or not, but rather whether or not that thing has a mind and intentions =) And, contrary to what Sophist offers (though what s/he offers is very helpful), we can actually talk about god in these terms without introducing a demarcation between that which is natural and that which is super-natural; i.e., we can give a monist account for God, where the exhaustive justification for God's existence can be drawn "exclusively" from the mono-world (this being an ontological claim; whether or not we have access to this justification is a separate, epistemological question).

Christian Apologetics. Christian Apologetics contains numerous resources for the defence of the Christian faith; including evidence in support of creation, a global flood, the accurate translation and copying of the Bible throughout centuries, the birth, life, death and the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the authenticity of the entire Bible and fulfilled prophecies. These are just some of the reasons I can think of to support what I've just claimed. Go to any Christian book store, especially one of significant size, and you'll find books, tapes, videos, DVDs and even CD Roms full of lots of evidence to study and dissect. Evidence from highly educated scientists, theologians, Archaeologists etc.
PS: Once you've finished studying the few resources I've listed, take one topic at a time and compare it with all other possibilities related to that topic -ie: creation verses evolution etc
When you have all the evidence on both sides of the issues you can use the mathamatical laws of propbability to deterimine which side is the most believable and which side has the most supporting evidence.
For example: The birth, life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ fulfilled over 300 very specific prophecies, most of which a mere man would be unable to manipulate and over which a mere man would have no control. Take only about a dozen of those prophecies -pick the toughest and most specific/descriptive. The alternatives would be He is who He said He is or the fulfillment was simply coincidental. The laws of probability state that the odds that one man fulfilling those exact prophecies exactly, 100 percent as prophecied was a mere coincidence are 1 in 10 to the power of 134. To give you an idea of the size of that number, that's 1 in 10 followed by 134 zeros-Evidence That Demands a Verdict

All you have to do is have faith in the word of God, there is no need for any other explanation.

It is really sad that you think you must prove anything about God, Just look up.

I hope you know you will have a chance to talk to God about this on Judgment day when he ask you why you said these things. Then You will here, "Depart I never knew you " how sad. I am so sorry for you and I will pray for your repentance.

There is nothing, no theory, philosophy or theology that proves the existence of god.
On the contrary if you look at the scientific evidence and see that evolution is the obvious source of human life you'll realize that even if their were a god, it would have to be essentially powerless and useless.

God has asked us to test Him. "O taste and see that the Lord is good." God would not ask us to believe without evidence or reason. And He doesn't force us to believe. You are privileged, by God, with the freedom of choice, and God honors your freedom to the point of allowing you to think He doesn't exist, if that is your wish.

On the other hand, God has also given certain prophecies in the Bible, upon which His honor rests. If anyone can rebuild Tyre, or live in Babylon, for example, he or she will have just proven that God is not God.

Can you, or anyone, do one of those two things? If not, I'd have to say God exists.

this is probably not the answer you're looking for, but i don't believe that any philosophy "proves" the existence of God. Religion requires blind faith, and what evidence they provide can be taken as just a collection of stories with morals, or just some really good ideas on human conduct, or even just a storybook meant to manipulate less educated people than those who wrote it.

Quantumism is the belief that God uses quantum mechanics to answer prayers.
We have no real certainty how many quantum followers there are. All attempts to measure them
has failed as if counting them some how affects the number of quantumism followers.

We may know a quarks location, or its spin but not both.
Taking a statistical approach a miricle can happen if there is no one there to observe it.
After it happens no one can exactly confirm what happen other than this person had cancer now they do not. Resulting in a mystical God.

So through prayer we can affect spin and speed of quarks.

We know that only energy and mass exist and that time is only a result of energy turning into mass and mass turning into energy.
Therefore if God is everywhere then he must be Mass. Which makes the U.S. the most Godly country as we all know they are the most obese.

I don't have a source but general knowledge. My math teacher, I guess (my source) spoke of how specific things are to make things run. One thing wrong and we wouldn't exist. I found the exactness to be overwhelming. Science is indeed amazing, but I believe something put this here. Sorry if this isn't what you were looking for but this is the 2 cents of my idea.

If people would take time to educate themselves beyond "lay man's" terms, we might not be drowning in the culture of ignorance we now find ourselves in.

For the eighty-billionth time.......

Proof of ANYTHING requires empirical evidence. God can not be tested, hence there is no way to prove god's existence. That is why people have FAITH in god.
