What if someone here said that they've written a book under the guidance of the Holy Spirit...

Would you accept it as the New Gospel?

If you wouldnt, so why did you accept the Gospel of John etc in your Bible?

Hi Riff Almighty,
You not being a Christian have no idea of the assurance that God gives us of His Word. That is a shame, for if you were you would never need to ask such a question ever again.

Perhaps some day God will open your eyes and you too will have love in your life.><>

My hope is that people would do everything under the guidance of the Holy Spirit! It doesn't make it a gospel. You're misinterpreting Scripture.

It would be weighed in the balance of the Bible just as the New Testament is weighed with the Old Testament. If it conflicts, its not a new revelation. As a matter of fact, the New Testament says its not a new doctrine, but one that has been hidden for ages, and in fact is backed by the Old Testament.

Thus any new revelation would be a sham - and especially of it failed the Old Testament test as a standard.
