I was wondering what Christians think of hell in general. Ghandi, according to the Bible, is eternally suffering in the pit for his "wrong doings". If he is, and Christianity happens to be right, I'll be glad to go burn with him. Maybe I don't want to go to such a Heaven that doesn't care how good or bad a person is. What sort of god would send a person to hell simply for being different? What about being a good person? I guess God just doesn't give a damn. And wouldn't Hitler, as a Christian(?), have gone to Heaven? Where is the justice in that? How could you fallow such a god?

Listen to yourself condemn God in your profound ignorance. You would damn God to Hell and declare yourself righteous. I know for a fact that Gandhi knew personally one of the greatest Christian missionaries of the 20th century, John G. Lake, a man who proclaimed the Gospel in South Africa and left a lasting impact that can be seen to this day. If Gandhi is in Hell, it's because he scoffed at the Son of God and despised the gift of God, which alone can save a man from his terrible darkness and arrogance. Your speech certainly gives you away as being totally in sympathy with Satan. What is most amazing to me though, is I was JUST LIKE YOU - a damned fool; and then Jesus saved me by His Amazing Grace. Glory to God - I don't know how He did it, but He did !

Christianity isn't the only religion that believes in God you know, just pick another one that doesn't involve eternal suffering for everyone who doesn't believe Jesus was God.

For everyone who is saying "What did Gandhi do wrong? Of course he won't go to hell."

He wasn't a Christian, he was a Hindu...that's why he would go to hell... It says so in your book, that's why. If you don't believe Jesus was God, straight to hell. That's why I'm not a Christian anymore but still believe in God.

Gandhi ji went to heaven, for heaven's sake. Of course, that is if there is a heaven in the first place. You're taking what people say about what god thinks as if they know s**t from Shinola. the part about hitler that you mention would have to assume that all christians, good and bad, go to heaven, because from what i read about the dude, he wasn't a nice guy, especially if you were jewish or even catholic. no, i suspect you wont have to burn in hell to be with gandhi ji. i also hope to be with him some day because he is my true hero of heroes. i love him like i love my indian wife.

people who bypass in the time of the gates of heaven and hell are no longer desperate by using some 0.5-hearted, semi-believing, selfish priest or bishop. i do no longer understand the place you heard that yet i understand that Jesus' love is unfathomable, and there will be a lot of human beings asserting unto him Lord,Lord, that isn't enter the dominion of heaven. no person is conscious what occurs and who is going the place after loss of existence. it is not arbitrary on heaven's side regardless of the undeniable fact that it is not our employer the two. additionally, do no longer underestimate the flexibility of His love and forgiveness. ALL have sinned and are available wanting the dignity of God. The penalty for sin is loss of existence. however the present of God is eternal existence throught Jesus Christ our Lord. needless to say, i desire Gandhi would be there. I honestly have alot to communicate over with him.

Question: Would an all-loving, all-forgiving God who loves all of his creation (including Gandhi) burn in hell for their "mistakes" (If you're biased enough to call peace, love, and Hinduism mistakes)? No.

Anyway, if the pain of burning in hell wasn't actually hurting me and was imaginary, I could probably learn to ignore it. And plus if I died of Low-temperature related causes, I'd be happy to be in hell because its much warmer. And I don't know about Hitler. I'm a supporter of Universal Reconciliation, so I'd say eventually.

Where is it written in the Bible that Ghandi went to hell? Jesus was the one said in the Book of Revelation that he went down to hell. And what wrong doings did Ghandi do according to the Bible? Before you ask that kind of question, be sure you have read the Bible.

I use to waste time trying to convince 'believers' the same thing. It truly doesn't make any real sense. Religion(s) has this lie that helps them keep the folk in control. So, I agree with everything you have said. But, I have found my own church---it is call the "Church of All Churches" . And if you don't believe as we do......
