Whoa...calm down girl. You won't feel a thing when they remove your tooth. Generally you'll feel a hard tug & hear some cracking, but since your tooth doesn't have roots, you might not even experience that. There will be some tenderness when the anesthesia wears off, but in all of my tooth pulling experiences, none of them have hurt. The worst pain is the prick of the needle when it goes into your gums. As for the bleeding-if it does bleed, they'll put cotton in your mouth to staunch it & it will eventually slow. Oh, and your dentist is the one who will extract the tooth. Close your eyes---maybe he won't be as scary then.
Good luck!!!!!!

Relax, it'll be alright. I have logged many hours in the chairs of dentists, orthodontists and oral surgeons. They'll give you a couple of novacaine or lidocaine injections. That's about the worst pain you'll feel through the whole thing; it's like a sharp, stinging sensation, not that bad really. Just clench the armrest of the chair really hard, and the injections are over with in a few seconds. Then the dentist usually uses a special type of pliers to remove the tooth. It's makes kind of a gruesome sound inside your head, but it doesn't hurt. If it does, tell the dentist immediately and he'll give you another injection. When he pulls it out, you should just feel a little pressure. Uncomfortable, but not painful. If there's already pressure from another tooth growing underneath it, then it should come out fairly easily. It may bleed a lot for the first couple minutes, but the gauze will stop it pretty quick. It's usually over with in just a few minutes.

The dentist may use a special pair of pliers.
It usually doesn't take more than a couple of seconds, once the freezing sets in.
The dentist, the doctor will likely be pulling your tooth out. The person who cleans your teeth, the hygenist, likely won't be, or shouldn't be pulling your tooth out.
If you don't have roots in your tooth, it won't hurt much.
It might bleed, but they should give you some gauze to help with the blood. It might bleed for a couple hours, but it should clear up.
I've had over 18 teeth pulled. It's not too bad. Take it from an orthodis's Hawaii Vacation

Yes your regular dentist will do it he is the qualified one. They will use some fort of plyers to pull it free. It very well may bleed a lot but they have stuff that will help with the bleeding. It take a while to get used to not having it there. I have had a tooth pulled before it was a baby tooth but it was a bad tooth. And I have had all 4 wisdom teeth taken out. You should stock up on soft food and liquids that have some kind of nutrition to em. Good luck don't be scared.

Ohhh. Well if there is another tooth growing under it, no, it's not going to hurt. Getting the shot isn't going to be a whole lot of fun, but it is quick. It'll all be over before you know it. It will bleed a lot. The scary dentist will do it, and he'll probably use a plier type tool. It's OK, no big deal. Be brave, and maybe you can go out for Dairy Queen afterwards.

Each dentist has their own routine for pulling a tooth, but he will be the one to pull it, The dental tech may assist but does not have the training or the license to do it. My dentist usually rubs a pre-numbing agent around the tooth to be pulled, gives me a few minutes than injects the Novocaine, and I hardly feel it at all because of the pre-numbing agent. It takes him less than a minute to pull, and he uses dental forceps.
If this dentist is too rough, talk to your parents about seeing someone else. If you have a real good dentist than believe it or not there is very little pain even having a tooth removed.

Only a dentist is legally allowed to perform that procedure - so yes, he'll do it. It won't hurt though. The needle is sufficient. Basically, the tooth is pushed a little bit to make enough room, and it is then grasped with some 'rubber' tipped pliers, and pulled/twisted out. It sounds scary, but it's not that bad. You only feel pressure, and hear cracks. The bleeding stops fairly quickly.

They numb the area and use a tool, cant think of the name, to push the gums down all around the tooth. Once that is done, a Rongour ( not spelled right) is used to move the tooth and loosen it. Once its moving, it should pop right out.
Only the dentist can pull the tooth.

Good question! But a scary one too!
But don't worry, the dentist have done the same thing to me but they didn't exactly pull it out or anything like that, they just made it come out my gum a little because it wasn't growing or nothing. But they did it to my two front teeth! Can you believe it?TWO!It hurt bad but I don't want to say it hurt that bad!Is it a loose tooth?Because if it is I would suggest to pull it out before tommorrow, and QUICKLY!What I did to calm my worries down were:
1.Take a deep breath, then let it out SLOWLY
2.Write a poem down for the dentist(before you go to the dentist) and hand it to him saying,"This is from me to you.Hope you love it so much that you hang it in your office. And please, don't make it hurt.I beg you please."
3.As the dentist rises the chair for him to get a better glance at your mouth, turns the bright light on and gets ready for the dreadful moment to happen, tell him again to not make it hurt.
4.And always remember to ask your mom if she can sit beside you to hold on tight to your hand!
Hope that helped!

They let the Novocain numb it good, and the Dentist (yeah, the scary one) comes in and pulls it out with a pair of special pliers. You'll feel pressure, but no pain if the Novocain is working. It will bleed, but they pack in gauze to minimize the bleeding.
