An easy way to be thin is to do several stomach excersixes. Sit ups and crunches are best. I am fourteen, and I weigh more than you. You really are not overweight. If you feel insecure, just eat healthy and get into a rhythm of excersizing and staying active. Another tip for us girls- push ups can help strengthen the pectoral muscles and enlarge them, making your breasts appear larger. This helps (I think) with self esteem and when your breasts are a bit bigger your stomach looks smaller in comparison. :D

You aren't fat but you may have an eating disorder. I am 5'6 and weigh 150 and I am aiming to lose 20 pounds and I wouldn't exactly say I am fat. You do not need to lose any weight, but you should consider checking to see if you have a body image disorder. Talk to someone about this before you do anything drastic.

first let me say you are not fat.. and if you want to look better and feel better about yourself maybe you could do a little bit of exercising and just firm up what you have left of meat.. 2nd if you feel you are eating to much food, try drinking an 8 oz glass of water before you eat, and when you eat, eat slow and allow your body to feel it get full.. please understand that you are not fat and that you are perfect at the size you are.. and i know that we see models all bonie and what not, but we are actually living in the real world and i must say that most MEN(not boys), like a girl that has something to grab and hold.. i have asked 4 guys what weight a girl should be at 5'6 and still be way hot and they said 135 thru 145.. and i'm 5'5 and 151 and my man is way way skinny and he loves every part of me, not that it changes the way i feel about my looks, but it makes me appreciate it a little more that i do have it and that someone loves it and loves to touch and kiss it all.. so don't go by what you see go by how you feel and if i were you(which i know i'm not) but: if i was i would be dressing in mini skirts and small tanks.. you are sexy just how you are and i hope that someone or yourself will allow that to be known.. best wishes and good luck!

Darling, I was 5'4 and 120 pounds. I am pregnant now so I have gained weight and guys tell me I look better now b/c I filled out! The typical American woman does not have the figure of a pencil. The only people you see that are like that are Models and SOME actresses. I think they are starting to see that a little junk in the trunk is way more attractive then skin and bones! I was reading a magazine that was talking a/b this famous Mexican model that died from starving herself! Hun, you are perfect just how you are, b/c God made you that way! God Bless!

Even if you don't believe all of these people telling you otherwise, you really are thin. There are even several ways to tell this, like by calculating your body mass index. I can guarantee that you at least on target weight, if not under weight. You can calculate it with this formula:

Formula: weight (lb) / [height (in)]2 x 703
Calculation: [weight (lb) / height (in) / height (in)] x 703

Calculate BMI by dividing weight in pounds (lbs) by height in inches (in) squared and multiplying by a conversion factor of 703.

Example: Weight = 150 lbs, Height = 5’5” (65")
Calculation: [150 ÷ (65)2] x 703 = 24.96

BMI Weight Status
Below 18.5 Underweight
18.5 – 24.9 Normal
25.0 – 29.9 Overweight
30.0 and Above Obese

or Yahoo! has a body mass calculator. But you really aren't fat, by any standards. I suggest that you read The Looks Book (http://www.amazon.com/Looks-Book-Esther-Drill/dp/0142002119/sr=8-1/qid=1164768637/ref=pd_bbs_1/103-7925776-4698219?ie=UTF8&s=books), because you've obviously been fed really poor standards for body image.

First of all that is thin for your height.. You are not fat.... But me telling you this will not make you see differently.... I'm thinking perhaps you need to speak to a doctor, or counselor about these thoughts you have.... NOT eating will not help the feeling you are having.. take it from someone who has suffered from an eating disorder for 18 years I am 36 years old now....

My advice seek help.... Good luck (( hugs))

RELAX! Don't ever starve yourself like that.EVER! Starving yourself can cause your body to go into starvation mode and store up any food once you do eat finnaly which will cause you to gain all that wieght back. NEVER STARVE YOURSELF. First of all, age, gender, bone structure and muslce matters.

For instance if you have 2 girls who are both 5ft 4.5 inches tall, weighing 115lbs,small framed, same age and lets say person A has 25% body fat while the other one has 35% body fat. The one with 35% body fat will appear bigger then the other one despite the fact they both have the same weight, age, height, gender, body frame, ect. Just eat right and excersize ok?

SKINNY ISN'T ALWAYS HEALTHY.

You aren't fat. That is actually a very healthy weight for you. One of my friend's is 5'2 and 125 pounds and she is also at a healthy weight. But if you aren't happy with yourself, try eating healthier. Eat more fruits and vegetables and stay away from breads and sweets. You could also add exercising 3 days a week to that. It may take time to lose weight, but at least you be harming your body by drastically losing it.

Before starting any diet- talk to you doctor about what options might be available. Not eating puts your body in preservation mode. Your body will sense that there is no food and will preserve as much as it can. Your metabolism will slow down. Besides all that, have you researched your weight and height ratio? Ask your doctor what the average american girl of your age, height, and weight is. Being healthy will lead to a long life. Healthy is not defined by size or shape. Health is defined as eating a balanced meal at least 3 times a day, exercise, healthy choices(not smoking, no drugs, etc)

You are NOT!!!! fat. 125 is a very healthy weight for your height. I'd love to be down to 125 again, and I'm 5'5". I was very healthy at that weight and had a great figure back then.
