i own a repair shop, and some of my customers have these vehicles,i would prefer the escalade over the navigator because of the ride i think its better and the over all safety i think is also better on the Cadillac ,,both vehicles are good, they just don't compare when it comes to the ride and comfort of the Cadillac and the warranty gm is offering now is unbeatable but what you need to do is go test drive both of them, and see for your self ,which one is better,i think you,ll like the Cadillac a lot better,,good luck i hope this help,s.

Skip the Escalade and get the Tahoe/Denali with the the 6.2 liter V8. You don't get all the gaudy chrome and the nicest leather, but you save a good $10000 by doing so. Kind of an understated elegance versus "here I am bling".
That being said, the GM product, as is has a lot more power and looks better I think. Don't rule out the new Mercedes either. Beat both of these as Motor Trends Truck of the Year.

I like the Cadillac sedans, good rides with 6 speed manual, wow. But between the Escalade and the Navigator, I like the looks of the Navigator better.

properly the Lincoln Navigator is basically a re-categorised day vacation, and an Escalade is a re-categorised Chevrolet Tahoe. If cost isn't a concern, i'd bypass with the Toyota Sequoia, because it really is extra routinely solid than any Ford, Chrysler, or Chevy product.

cadillac escalade simply because it is a babe magnet. "what do you drive" "ohh i drive an escalade" or think of this: "i drove a LINCOLN navigator"
doesnt sound nearly as good.
by this logic alone buy the cadillac.

Personally, I could not afford to purchase either one of them-- I could not afford the gas!
