hi i have been having arm pain like sharp sore or numbness burning and stabbing pains in hearty area also like pressure in my heart region i have had ekgs blood test and chest xrays i do suffer from anxiety could this be gas i also was diagnosed with gerd worse with stress also tight throat nausea.Thanks.

What is you typical anxiety attack like? ans are these symptoms similar, if not then we need to ask ourselves what is the pain from. There are many possibilities for the pain. If you had said that you have been checked out for these pain then it probably isn't cardiac related, regardless of what anyone else says...UNLESS the pain has changed from a previous time them it is something to go get looked at. But there are many different structures in that area that could give you pain...heart, lung, trachea, esophagus, costal ribs & cartilages. Without knowing more it makes it difficult to answer your question fully...

I had anxiety problems a few years back. I thought I was a for sure a goner. I had the same symptoms as you plus some. I had thousands of dollars and test and nothing was physically wrong. If you have had all those test and they have came back fine,take a few deep breaths and pop a xanax ;-)

If your not sure with those symptoms it is always best to go to the Emergency Room, especially with arm pain, and be sure.
