I recently started doing eye exercises to try to improve my vision. I created a blog where I record my progress with the exercises.

My vision is 20/400, which is really poor.

I recently saw some improvement. Other people (who have also experienced improvements) have posted comments about their experiences as well. You can check it out at: http://improvingmyeyesight.com/blog

Hope this helps...

Eye exercises are used for many conditions, but not for improving overall eyesight. Many eye doctors prescribe specific vision therapy to help with eye alignment issues that cause headaches and eyestrain. As far as helping you see more clearly, there is no method that has been scientifically proven to do so. Keep in mind that people's prescriptions change with time (this is completely normal). At certain ages, your vision might get a little worsee and at other ages, it might get a little better. Your sister would benefit the most from glasses or possibly contact lenses.

Forget about eating carrots...the ophthalmologist I work for says this is a fallicy. Also, vision therapy rarely works. Glasses, contacts, and surgery are about it for now.

Ask your opthalmologist. He/she should be able to help.

Make sure you eat the logical veggies: carrots, etc.

Good luck.
