I have 5 pictures on my computer (jpegs) & I need to make each of them into the shape of a circle about the size of a nickel. I've downloaded several programs but can't figure it out. I have photoshop elements, gimp, photo pros, photo impact & paint. Anyone know how I do this? I did it a while back with a trial program, but can't remember which program I used. Please help!

In photoshop:

Open the photo
Use the "elliptical marquee too" to mark the area you want to crop
On the top menu choose "select->inverse"
Click "delete" on your keyboard

a million. In Photoshop, load your image. Double-click the heritage layer contained in the Layers palette and rename it. this may unencumber the heritage layer so as that it would want to have transparency. 2. Make a round determination of the area you pick to save. bypass to choose > Inverse and then press Delete. A checkerboard trend marks the clear parts of the image. 3. bypass to document > keep for internet... . pick GIF or PNG, whichever supplies you the perfect outcomes. JPEGs do no longer help transparency.
