I erased the title of a past program thinking the disk would be open again but the message I get from my dvd recorder is disc is full, and past programs cannot be found, so basically only title is erased not program.

you should be able to add information to the DVD-R as long as it hasn't been finalized and it's not full, but you can't take off what was already written. To do that you would have to use a DVD-RW. the same thing goes for CDs. either way, once it's finalized it's finished for good. hope this helps

If the disc has not been finalized,
your DVD has not been recorded.
Either finalize what you want to
record or try something else.

Yes, they can be recorded but you have to use DVD - RW discs
