can an unvacinated puppy get the parvo virus from eating cat poo/vommit from a cat that has it?

Yes cats can get The parvo virus, but with cats it is called Panluekopenia, I know because that is what my vet told me my adult cat has.

No parvo virus is a species specific disease, it ONLY affects dogs. Panluk and FPV are virus passed from cat to cat not cat to dog or dog to cat, species specific means dog to dog or cat to cat. Cats may get something such as panluk that have the same type of symptoms but I guarantee the cat didn't get it from a dog.

Parvo is a disease that is only contracted by dogs. It cannot be transmitted to any other species.

cats carry the virus so if you have puppys keep cats from them unless you wont them to get parvo!!!!!
