Forgiveness is VITAL to a Christian. Jesus said that if we do not forgive, his Heavenly Father will not forgive us.
However, forgiveness is extremely difficult. It is easier to forgive a dead person than a live one, because the dead one can no longer hurt you. But it would be harder to forgive a murderer than a ranter, but Richards did "murder" with his tongue.
We do need forgive him, and he needs to examine himself.
BTW, forgiving isn't the same as excusing. We forgive when we can't excuse.

truly, there are 2 styles of, or 2 steps to forgiveness. the daddy unilaterally forgives each and every human, for no longer something in go back, inspite of what we do or do not do. it truly is what Jesus requested him to do on the go. we do not owe God something, we are released. there's a 2d, deeper forgiveness. There can in straight forward words be a relationship at the same time as the stumbling block that separates 2 persons is bumped off. this style of forgiveness has a fee...the eliminating of the offense, and reparations. We might want to eliminate the lump of coal in our hearts through forgiving others, then God sees that we are being like him, and would enable him to have a relationship with us. between people inspite of the actuality that, in this existence, the offense is often no longer bumped off, truly won't be able to be short of the dominion. we are nonetheless envisioned to provide the first kind inspite of the actuality that. sturdy question chum.

help and forgiveness is what Jesus says to do. he says forgive your brother 70 times and if he still does what is wrong forgive him that many more times etc. condemnations and anger are never ways to solve a problem and only worsen the problem. Christianity is a faith based around forgiveness, and we are supposed to forgive others as Christ forgives us. In situations that this is hard, we must pray for strength to do so and strength to help others.

We are to forgive no matter what, our unforgiveness holds a person hostage in the realm of hate.We become victims as well,as unforgiveness is like an cancer if you harbor unforgiveness to another. It does not mean you would trust that person, that would take time to rebuild I have had to do it with others.I have been unforgiven,it feels horrible.Especially when when have asked to be forgiven and a person has hardened their heart towards you.God says you must forgive to be forgiven.

In itself, no. If I have offended, sinned against, someone and admitted to it and apologised, that is all that is necessary. If he then doesn't want to forgive me, that's his problem. I can walk away and shrug it off: no way will I go down on my knees and beg. In the eyes of God sin is another matter: I can walk up to the Supreme Court in Heaven and acknowledge, own up to, confess, my sin. The way I feel has nothing to do with it, if we didn't enjoy sin, we wouldn't do it. It is what Jesus Christ did as our Substitute and our Advocate that counts!! Of course we should readily forgive others: if we don't we only hurt ourselves wih mental attitude sins such as spite, revenge, malice, etc.

Point 1: Yes, forgiveness is one of Jesus' most important teachings.
Point 2: Nobody is perfect, and God knows this. He understands when and why his children get angry, and if somebody dies before he or she can forgive, then God understands that we all have our own battles, our own personal wins and losses. He still loves us and wants us with Him.
Point 3. You can be angry at someone and still want them to get help. They're not always mutually exclusive.

Jesus taught that forgiveness is crucial to the believer. If we want to be forgiven, we must practice forgiveness. I don't know about the specifics of the people you are talking about, though, but if they're born again, they should forgive.

Forgiveness is very important, Jesus said if we cannot forgive those who sin against us, God cannot forgive us. Forgiving means to get past it. And if someone cant forgive someone over words, then they have some serious problems.

yes, forgiveness is important
the Bible says if we don't forgive others God won't forgive us
like the parable of the wicked servant that was forgiven his massive debt by the king but did not forgive his fellow servant who only owed a small amount. the wicked servant had the fellow servant thrown in jail, when the king heard what happened, he put the wicked servant in jail and handed him over to the torturers until his debt was paid
we're the first servant, we've been forgiven of our sins (the massive debt), but if we won't forgive somebody else for some small thing they've done to us God (the king) won't forgive us of our sins
i'm black and i forgive him, it's not my place to judge
i'll leave that for God

Forgiveness is like taking off shackles and is not limited to Christians. One can never rise above with chains on.
