First start off by selecting good quality ground beef. Ground pork and veal can also be added. Make sure that the meat is not too fatty. The fat will cook out of the meat once after your meatloaf is fully cooked.About one and one half pounds total for four people.
To the raw meat in a bowl add all kind of dried spices like garlic, oregano, onion powder and salt & pepper.
Next add some woersteshire sauce and ketchup, 1 whole egg and bread crumbs.
Roll your sleeves up and mix all the ingrediants up in the bowl.
Have your oven going at preheat -about 350 degrees.
Next form your meatloaf into the shape of a football with a flat bottom to it.
Place it on a sheet pan and put in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes.
When done pull out of oven and let it sit for about ten minutes.
This helps to firm it up so that it doesn't crumble apart on you when you cut it. Slice away and enjoy !

I have found that putting strips of bacon on top ensures a moist meatloaf and the bacon gives it a great flavor.
Use good quality ground beef and pork, bread crumbs, egg, salt, pepper, ketchup, chopped onion and parsley(fresh if you can). I also sneak a little mustard in mine for some more flavor.
Let your meatloaf sit before you cut into it. Resting will help keep it from falling apart.

Take 2 lbs. ground beef. Add 1 or 2 packets of Lipton Beefy Onion soup mix. Add 1 cup italian style dry bread crumbs, 2 eggs, 1/2 cup ketchup and 1 tsp minced garlic. Mix together and form a loaf. Bake at 350 for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. If you want a yummy glaze, mix up 1 cup ketchup , 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1/4 cup mustard (or experiment with different amounts until it tastes good to you) add this glaze in the last 15 minutes of baking. DELICIOUS!!!

1 lb. ground chuck
onion & garlic powder salt & pepper to taste
2 slices stale bread
canned milk(pet or carnation)
1 egg
ketchup
Mix spices into meat with your hands, place stale bread in seperate bowl and cover with canned milk. Crumble into meat mixture when bread has soaked up the milk. Stir in slightly beaten egg. Spray a loaf pan with cooking spray. Place meat mixture in pan and shape into loaf. Bake uncovered @ 350 for 30 to 45 min. Remove from oven and drain excess grease. Test for doneness by sticking a sharp knife into center. If it is still pink, cook a little longer. Cover top with ketchup and return to oven until ketchup is hot and bubbly. Let sit 10 min. before slicing.

The same way you would make meat balls.
Mix all your ingredients together,
Example, meat, onion, garlic, mustard, etc (all spices to taste)
But instead of shaping it into balls, put it in a loaf pan
Takes about 35-45 minutes at 350 degrees
Enjoy!
