My favorites, and i have tried them all.
Remington 870 Wingmasters or the newer Express model in the shotgun(pumps). The Remington Autos are great also, but are heavier, can jam in colder or messier conditions. Also, who wants to strip an auto down after crawling after geese all day!
.22's are a toughie, but i love my bull Ruger 10/22.Lots of weight out forward for steadier aim. Also most better brands of the bolt/actions.
Remington gets the nod on bigger game rifles.I have alway's used bolts,so i can't say on the other mechs.Ruger makes a great rifle also.
Blackpowder,i have a new Knight,and i love it.My old H&R single shot was a great gun too.
Go get 'em!

the Remington 700 xcr, wild west guns takedown marlin lever action, benelli shotguns, smith and wesson revolvers, most guns made today are pretty good just get what you need in the caliber you need. i prefer stainless steel guns with synthetic stocks for durability, but get what you want and take care of it.
