Yes, Jeremiah 10 clearly states this practice is ancient. It talks about
mans vanity, because it is an ancient fertility symbol. Representing male
sexual potency.
Like we need to do magic to make babies right?
I don't care about it being a ones home, but I do wish they would take it
out of God's House!
But as the Word says, "Do not fear them, for they don't know they are doing
wrong. Neither is it in them to do any good!"

Hypocrites? The real hypocrites are the retards that don't know that it isn't possible for jesus to have even been born in the month of december-it was october. We aren't celebrating the birth of Christ on December 25. Where in the bible does it quote his birthday? The Christmas celebration began centuries ago in celebration of the birthday of a man named Mithras. Idiots. It's just a holiday, and an excuse for people to max out their credit cards. Anyone who treats it as a religious event hasn't taken the time to know what they are doing.

Not all people who have trees in there house are hypocrites. Just remember the true meaning of Christmas. You should not judge anyways.

Jesus was not born on Dec 25...closer to March 25. The church changed the date to coinside with the pagan holiday of Yule. Most christian holidays are pagan holidays adopted by christians.
The christmas tree is a pagan symbol too!
Hail Goddess...LOL

Dear Mad-Delete,
Hypocrites? IDOLS?, the "Christmas Tree"?
The love of anger we clearly see.
Thou quotest scripture to benefit thee
All who have answered surely agree.
Hypocrite? Please tell me dear friend,
Exempt art thou of any "pretend"?
Thou who keepest the whole law of God?
We stand in amazement and in awe.
Be careful judging thy fellow man
It brings forth judgment hard to withstand
The Old Testament thou has quoted right
The New has come that removes our blight!
Pray thee, take off thy self-righteous cloak?
The Old passed away, ah, Thou misspoke!
The New surpassed Old Testament law
Enjoy the Christ-child with ma and pa!

Hypocrites don't normally idolize anyone.
The tree I put up every year is in celebration of the birth of Jesus. That's its meaning to me - no matter what you think it means.

This question is another perfect example of the devil and his ability to distract us from Jesus Christ and him crucified.
All the side issues of very little meaning are asked and no one hears the message of Jesus Christ for them.
We are sinners in need of saving.
Thanks be to God for His grace.
Thanks be to God for His saving us through the person Jesus Christ.

If they bow to the tree and kiss it and pray to it... then its an idol... otherwise its just a tree... get over it.
