no, trimming takes place at the ends, the hair growth is going on under the surface of the scalp at the follicle root.......the hair shaft itself is dead keratin tissue with no way of transmitting the cutting to the root........trimming has no effect on growth at all.

It grows from the roots, not the ends. However, hair does tend to stop after a certain length - probably due to the weight of the hair signaling the roots that it's time to slow the growth rate down, etc. But cutting it before it reaches that point won't make it grow faster.
Don't cut it. If you trim it, it will just be that much shorter at Christmas.

Nope it is a complete lie Cutting your hair makes it shorter and.... that is it!!! Get a trim every 8 weeks just so you dont have any split ends ... yes split ends do not grow as faster as hair with no split ends but that is it

Your hair will still grow the standard speed in the four week period it takes to grow. Although when I cut my hair for locks for love the length went from my mid back to the base of my neck now it is in a shoulder length pony tail, I cut my hair back in September, during a growth period. I think cutting it in the growth stages is what stimulates the hairs to grow.

Hair loss affects both men and women. Here are some natural remedies that can help boost hair growth: https://bitly.im/aMKwQ While genetics plays a role, there are other factors, including: hormonal imbalances, an underactive thyroid gland, nutrient deficiencies and insufficient scalp circulation.

Cutting it keeps the split ends trimmed an they cause breakage. It doesn't affect the growth rate at all.

certain and no. certain because it keeps your hair wholesome and free of chop up ends which in turn makes it softer and better viable. no because hair doesn't strengthen from the ends it grows from the basis. in case you save your hair wholesome certain it will strengthen better willingly yet you may want to think with reference to the position your hair begins to strengthen and preserve all of it no longer purely getting a trim yet deep conditioning besides will shrink the choose for those trims.

your hair does grow from the roots, but it's still important to trim it every once in awhile to prevent split ends. split ends can cause damage to your hair and make it grow slower. besides, you don't want long but unhealthy looking hair. that's not very pretty.

no thats not true. What happens is your cutting off the split ends and preventing them from breaking faster than if you dont cut them. SO when you cut it it keeps your ends healthier longer which keeps it from breaking therefore .
