I think it is our capacity to love. This single emotion can bring us to the most wonderful heights of compassion, self-sacrifice and courage. It is our greatest blessing.

Compassion. If everyone had compassion for their fellow brother and sister no one would starve, be murdered, or be homeless.

Of course we can't do this as Jesus did so we look to Him for forgiveness in all we do.
