Why do some black women get mad when a brother dates a white woman?

Some of my female friends are unhappy when they see a black man with a white woman. This doesnt bother me. When I tell them Im fine with it, they jump on me for having my own opinion. I believe you can date and marry who you want to if it makes you happy . Its not my place to judge. Its not just my friends, my mother is the same way. Do some women get mad because they can't have that man and they are secretly jealous or what? What is the big problem?

i dont ....who cares .... maybe they are just mad because they were passed up ... who knows..who cares .. everyone should be able to date who they want .. those are just haters

I really dont know what the problem is. my mom does the same thing. Have you ever noticed that people dont say anything about a Black woman with a White man? I think TV and other things puts the idea into those heads that maybe a black woman wasnt good enough for him, or something like that ya know?

i dont care though, i think interracial dating is great ;D

I think we've been conditioned to revolt against that. Some people say things just because they've heard others say it. I do hate the idea that there are black men who don't date black women because they are too (insert your favorite adjective here- aggressive & angry are the two I hear most often). That bugs me, but I don't automatically assume that when I see people on the street.

I'm married to a white man, and I've heard some terribly racist things from our own people. There have been black women (including my mother) who assume he spoils me and lets me walk all over him, which isn't true at all!

Thank goodness you stick with your own beliefs!

maybe they take it as a insult to them, like maybe they are not good enough.

Personally, I'm a white woman. I don't see too many mixed race relationships. But when I see a white guy with a black, asian, latino, girl etc. I'm not affended. I've got no real option on it. I always been with white guys, and I married one. I don't know what it's like to get weird looks. I figure, people are people, we're all different and therefore we all have different tastes.

you comprehend i'm married to a white guy and Black women people and adult men do a similar ingredient to me. nicely I have under no circumstances been stated as gruesome or loser yet they are going to say i'm with my husband for his money, it rather is a lie. Or Black adult men will say "Oh he do not comprehend what to do with all of that, blah, blah, blah". i hit upon Black adult men experience threatened and Black women people are jealous because they are too a lot of a coward to move the colour line. My question to you is why do you care what all people says or thinks? do exactly you!

All I can say is that we are not all that way. I'm a Black woman, and I'm married to a man of a different race.

Your friends are probably really into the black culture and they live in neighbourhoods with a majority of black/ethnic people and its just that they are not used to seeing mixed race couples.
Also they think that the white guy will not "fit in" to their community and they think that black guys should get a chance. I dont think they are jealous.
I personally am dating a white guy and there is absolutelyl nothing wrong with it.
